What could a City website add that would make you want to visit the site more often?
I'd like to know about the system of parks and green-ways within the city and nature trails outside the city limits.
City websites that would include information for visitors and residents always promote tourism and community participation.
Post current festivals, city tour schedules, link to local reviewers, links to recent Lifestyle newspaper articles, and much more to provide a robust source of information. By placing the information online; and with most people looking online for destinations, it mates the information to the visitor and makes the city more appealing.
Once this type of content is added, people will visit more regularly for updates and new postings. This may also improve rankings and link traffic as well. If visitors to the site visit the city and have a pleasurable informed visit; then they will be more likely to plan another excursion and hopefully consult the website for more recent information.
