Tim Ho Wan on Kwong Street for excellent dimsum, most of the eateries on Food Street at Causeway Bay, the Bacar Wine Brasserie on Shelley Street and don't miss Ned Kelly's Bar at Tsim Sha Tsui for good wholesome food, great wine and super jazz!
For the fun of it - and a chance to pick seafood from a menu of over 100 items - sampan out to "Jumbo" floating restaurant in the harbor. For Sushi - Nadama. For a beautiful harbor view with its nightly light panarama plus an extremely upscale, beautifully served dinner, Victory Peak Inn. For a great authentic Chinese meal ending with a to-kill-for heated almond custard desert, Kim Chiang Lee, sister to a restaurant with the same name in the San Francisco Chinatown. If you can dodge the trolleys, Hong Kong has restaurants large and small. Check the window menus for items and prices. It's a you-can't-eat-wrong city. David Russell
