Don't take so much stuff and buy the accupressure wristbands on board ship if you get seasick -- they work in minutes.

That's hard for me but I will force myself to only take what I need. Thanks!

My tips for the cruise would be -
Check tripadvisor for any recommendations for the same cruise
Know where you will be stopping off and for how long, then plan if there are any sights you really want to see that may cost extra.
Make sure you don't miss evacuation procedures or read it, just in case!
Bring the wristband specifically for seasickness or the tablets.

I will be getting osme of those wristbands just in case.  Amazon has them for a pretty low price.  Thanks for the tips.

Eat in the dining room, not the buffet, the food is better. Check out the shore excursions early, like before you get on the ship. Some of the popular ones fill up.

Someone else advised me to wait on the shore excursions, because there are more offered once you are on the ship.  There is only one I really want to do - the glass bottom boat. Thanks for the tips.

Is it glass-bottom kayak in Mahahual by any chance? If so, I went on that, and it wasn't really what I expected. There was so much seaweed we didn't see much. It was still fun paddling the kayak and being on the beach, our guide was very personable a

This is in the Bahamas and it is over the coral reef.  I've read comments about it and they were all pretty good.

I'd say from experience that less is more with how much to take. It may sound obvious but you don't want to spend your last day repacking everything when you can do it in half an hour or less.

Good point, packing is no fun when it is time to go. Thanks!

Bring a big water bottle you can refill.
I liked the booze-cruise/scuba diving excursion.
Set your watch to the correct time zone when you dock so you don't miss the boat.
Steal a bunch of the little pink umbrellas for drinks from the bar, go to the top deck, let them go and watch them all fly.
Go as far to the front of the boat boat as they will let you, like they did on Titanic. The wind is super strong. It is fun.
If they have the all-you-can drink soda card, get it.
