What are the "must see" attractions in the city you live in?
I would say the stockyards district. But the answer completely depends on what someone is interested in seeing. Some people enjoy tourist sites and theme parks. Others prefer local culture
For Singapore, I would say the Marina Bay area, which includes the Esplanade, the waterfront where the Merlion is, Fullerton Hotel, Marina Bay Sands and of course, Orchard Road, even if don't like to shop. http://liliansg.hubpages.com/hub/Shoppi … chard-Road

I'd have to go with the waterfront in Toronto Canada, except for winter. It is where musicians, artists, venders all gather and eat lots of hot dogs.That or Sneaky Dee's pub uptown

If so, which was the biggest culture shock to you? I have never been to Asia or the Middle East so one of those are likely to be my 2012 destination.Seeing as I don't do 'big' trips very often, I want it to me...
