   Two of my favorite beaches are Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and the beaches south of Ensenada on Mexico's Baja California peninsula.  These two beaches are almost completely opposite-- one is a beach in a very densely populated urban area, with beautiful patterned sidewalks made of stone lining a boulevard with sidewalk cafes and high rise hotels.  The other is a nearly pristine, isolated, untouched coastline facing the Pacific Ocean, with little or no evidence of human influence.

   Have traveled all over the world and there are many beautiful beaches..however..I still think the west coast of Florida beaches are awesome...the reason our beach cottage is 80 steps from the water and we can decide to go and be there without driving all day, no hassel with luggage or planes/trains/boats...and the fact of the white sand, pristine beach and private is all the more appealing...as Dorothy stated.." there's no place like home "...thanks for asking....

   The beaches of the Tunku Abdul Rahman National park (five small islands) off the coast of Kota Kinabalu on Malaysian Borneo, and Railay Beach in Southern Thailand are the most beautiful I've seen. White powder beaches, crystal clear water, some good snorkeling right off the beach . . .  Still dreaming about them!

   To many people beauty, like 'home', is where the heart is.  In my case home is Cape Cod and that's where my heart is.  So, although some might opt for the beaches of far away locales like Hawaii, Cancun, or sunny San Vito Lo Capo; I'll take my one mile long, West Dennis Beach - in the middle of The Cape.

   I've not been to many places but Isla Mujeres' beach (near Cancun) was gorgeous. Indescribably gorgeous.

    While recollecting from my memory of having read on the subject, I think the beach in Malaysia & Thailand may be ranked top.  One I am sure, the most beautiful are there in Asia continent.  In India, Kovalam and Konark in Orissa stand best.  Goa's Palolem also deserve some special mention.

    I think Candolim Beach in goa is the best beach in the world. Candolim beach is located in the northern part of Goa. It is among the popular beaches of the state but is known to be relatively peaceful, compared to the more noisy beaches of north Goa. Located on the west coast of India facing the Arabian Sea, the Candolim beach offers nature lovers, vacationers, and honeymooners an excellent opportunity to be amidst tranquil surroundings and a calm sea. The beach is located about 15 kilometers from Panjim. The beaches nearest to the Candolim beach are Senquirim, Calangute and Baga, all of which form the same stretch of coastline. Candolim is an ideal place to be in if you want to be in a quiet atmosphere without missing out on the tourist attractions in Goa.

    I LOVE Casey-Key, Florida & Nokomis Beach. My family went there nearly every summer for about a week & it was the most Gorgeous place to wake up in.  The sand was as bright white & soft as sugar, the water blue, clear & calm.  I never found more shells & sharks teeth on a beach than that one & nearly every morning, I'd run out to watch bottle-nosed dolphins jumping & playing underneath the sunrise.  It is Such a Beautiful, peaceful, magical place that Stephen King bought a home there about 2 miles away from where my family always stayed.  I miss it dearly & hope to go back someday.

    I didn't visit the beaches worldwide but have visited many beaches in USA. In my opinion, i like Kahanamoku Beach, Waikiki, Oahu in Hawaii.
    Its really a nice and great place to spend remember able time.

    Cottesloe beach Perth Australia the sand is white and the water in clear blue .
    We try to go for a swin every week end it relaxes me for another stressful week ahead.
