Where would you like to be at this moment and why?
In a far away exotic place; in an airplane; your old school; the best restaurant in town, etc...
The library with plenty of time to read all week long. And I still would want to stay... It's one of those relaxing, calming days to recharge.
In America just so I can have some American food. I'm visiting Vietnam right now and I enjoy trying new food but every once in a while I just want some food I'm use to. Like a McChicken from McDonalds.
At a public library surveying old magazines with the one I love -- we both love old things.
At this moment I am seated in my den with my dog Yogi who is asleep on the sofa. I am looking at him and a smile reaches my lip....it goes all the way down to my toes and then back up to my head...ending in my heart. I am filled with immense love and gratitude...I visualize my baby dog, Gypsie, who is upstairs sleeping soundly in our bed room upstairs. Again, a wave of tender love floods my being and again I feel joy and gratitude.. With this going on, I am also looking out of my window at the Blue Ridge Mountains and enjoying the scenic view and feeling happy just to be able to enjoy the wonderful works of God as well as typing this response and readying my self to begin work on an article I am offering for pay. You see THIS MOMENT is the ONLY time for me right now. I am totally engaged and relishing and rejoicing in it. I am expressing gratitude for it. Just being alive and well in this moment is a gift from God. The older I get, the more precious each moment is. I don't squander away my moments by wishing I was someplace else doing other things. When I am in my future moments, I will not squander them by thinking back or longing for what I am doing this moment.
in the physical presence of my departed brother, mother, grandmother, grandfather, aunts, uncles, cousins, and in-laws; all who departed this life too soon.
Back home in Barbados.
I'm currently living and studying in Brazil, and while I love being out here, I won't be going back home until October or so. I do miss the island quite a bit, especially since it's festival season now and there are lots of cultural events and parties.
I'll just wait until October!
I'm taking you mean at the exact moment we're reading your question. I'd like to be in bed because it's after midnight. The problem is it took me longer to write my hub than I expected and I wanted to browse through the questions. It's ok though. I don't have anywhere to be in the morning and right now, some of the questions are more interesting than the thought of sleeping.

It's silly but sometimes I notice that people sometimes take for granted the people that are closest to their hearts. And so our thanks are said casually and for politeness sake. And because that is what we've learned in kindergarten. :-) But do we ever really pause for awhile and truly...
