Will you be going on vacation this year?
Will you be going on vacation this year or are you reluctant to spend the money because of the economy and high gas prices?
Probably not. The past 2 years I've invested in keeping a small efficiency apartment in a lakeside town I love, and I escape there for 2-3 days many weeks. For me the mini-vacations are working better. I actually get a lot of writing done then.
I doubt I'll be going anywhere, but only because I don't know where I'd go if I did. This year I'm planning on staying at home and relaxing because I feel the need to not do anything that takes energy.
i will be going on vacation this summer. I want to bond with my lovely family on the best of the best Islands in the Philippines. Guess where?
Vacation? I don't remember what that is, lol! Every year when I write my goals, I add "go on a vacation," but I haven't been able to make it happen due to other priorities. I hope to do something this year, maybe on a small scale. Economy, gas prices, and running a business are definite factors.
Yes I already have my vacation weeks planned until Christmas, but I will be staying in town and relaxing because I never have enough money to leave town and go away (like everyone around me seems to be able to do). But all is well -- I love to relax and sleep in and I get much more writing and exercising done that way and catch up on housecleaning. It's really nice to get away from the stress and rat race of the office a few times a year!
Last year we camper vanned around Britain + Europe for 6 months then visited Alaska by cruise ship. America + Canada after saving for ages.It was an amazing time and we loved it !
i have been working for a while in England & we plan to explore more of Europe with me teaching English over there and find some time to relax over short breaks.
We are having a few days in Ireland next week.

I just heard that it is very probable that the gas will go up to $5.00 a gallon in the near...future in the United States; do you think it will happen? And why is it going up that much?

To cause the President to fail? Is that why Big Business is not hiring and sitting on all that money? Why is Health insurance covering less and costing more? What's more important to the Nation and American people Jobs or who's president?

Is it better to fill up your gas tank all at once, or little by little ($15 at a time).I drive a moderate amount, and I usually fill up my tank with about $15 worth a time, unless its at a low price or I'm going on a long trip--then I fill it up completely. Is this an economically efficient...
