      Peggy, a wonderful article to read first thing, this Friday morning. Peaceful, creative, and inspiring! Easily I could see the time spent on research. Nice!
      
      I appreciated the pics and videos. BTW . . . I have seen other similar articles by you, though this is the first I have read, do parks there have Frisbee golf courses?
      
      It is inspiring enough that I am pondering about doing an article about Balboa Park in San Diego.
      
      I hope you don't mind if I grab hold of your idea. It will get me out of the house and go on an adventure or two.

         So happy to know that you enjoyed reading this article and it may inspire you to write one of your own about Balboa Park in San Diego.  To answer your question, yes!  We have disc golf courses here in many of our parks.  I hope you follow through and write about Balboa Park.  I would be interested in reading about it!

      It is a delight to be able to explore new areas with my husband as I take photos, etc.  It is also fun learning about the people who support the efforts of major undertakings like this new area of the park.  I'm so glad you liked learning about the Eastern Glades of Memorial Park.

   Peggy...
   This sounds like a wonderful park.  I wish my little town had something like this; bit we have a splash pad for the kids and a walking trail for me.
   
   An indoor pool, arboretum, golf course....oh my...it must be a really big area.
   
   That donation is quite amazing.  This park will keep going for many years to come.
   
   I enjoyed your article and the video.  I love exploring through your eyes.

      Yes, Memorial Park is immense and has so much to offer!  We also have many generous people who donate large sums of money through their foundations to support efforts like the redevelopment of portions of this urban park. 
      
      I am so pleased that you enjoyed the virtual visit of the Eastern Glades.  It is not far from where we now live, so we can visit it often.  Thanks for your comment.
