Why i am not receiving any pennies from hubpage?

I have got 500+ unique visits in this week from hubpage and din't get any revenues at all. On the other hand from triond i have earn near 70 cent with only near 400 impressions. Whats  wrong?

I don't know how Triond works but HubPages works with Google AdSense. You can earn money from impressions but clicks on advertisements is where you get the money. No clicks means no money, unless you get a lot of impressions. The number of unique visits does not matter, what matters is how many clicks on ads you got and how much those clicks were worth.

I am asking myself that same question. I have had just over 1000 hits with Google Adsense and I've earnt 6p from just displaying their adverts. I assume this is because no one is clicking on my adverts because I do not talk about very financial or scam topics.

I too used Triond and they pay almost exactly a penny per four hits, which seems like a great deal.

For some reason though, I feel more dedicated to HubPages. I think it is probably to do with the fact that when I publish an article on HubPages it is very neat and well designed, whereas on Triond it looks almost like a scam website with damaged and slow graphics and as soon as you click on one of their articles on their sister sites, adverts just fill your screen.

Sorry to leave you with such a  vague answer, my only suggestion is work on more financially based topics, but as I say, easier said than done. I will try to stick to HubPages and if I reach 10,000 views with pennies I will start to question the point.

HubPages actually shows your ads 60% of the time, not 50%. Also, you have the ability to earn from referring users to hubpages as well as referring readers to other hubs.

You will want more than 500 visitors in a week, remember the more visitors, the more money. There are also ways in which to format your hubs so that you make more money. You can learn this and a TON of other things about making money with HubPages in the Learning Center. I seriously promise that once you get back from reading the stuff in the learning center, you will love HubPages again. If you follow the advice there, you should see yourself earning more.

Can't wait to see your next hub!

I know that there are many who are earning a lot on Hubpages. I registered six weeks ago but published my first hub about ten days ago. I'm sure that if I continue to put as much effort as I've been doing over the past week I'll start earning interesting revenue in a few months. I also publish a lot on Squidoo but it definitely seems that it is easier to earn on Hubpages.
