It doesn't appear that you've completely activated your AdSense account on HubPages:
http://hubpages.com/my/affiliate
Until it says "Active" next to Google, you won't make any money at all from AdSense. You should have received an email from Google directly, with instructions on how to complete your signup. If you didn't or can't locate it, this would be a good place to start:
https://www.google.com/adsense/account-access
You'll need to login to your account, and approve access for "www.hubpages.com". If you don't have an AdSense login that works, then start here:
https://www.google.com/adsense/support/
You may need to contact google directly to sort things out, in that case.
Xeniba, patience! I earned practically nothing from HubPages for my first two or three months, even though I built up to over 50 Hubs during that time. Most people seem to have the same experience - it takes time to start earning.
I hate to ask the obvious, but if you look at your Adsense account, do you see about the same number of hits? If not then your Adsense affiliate information may not be set up right.
The other thing to check, when you set the hub up, did you put the Ads level at high? The reason I ask is that your hub seems to have just a couple of ads at the top, and then nothing until the bottom, and it's a very long hub. It may be that if it is just one long text module, you may want to break it up into 2 or 3 to give HP a place to insert ads in the middle. It would also improve the visual appeal of your hub to break it up and have some headers. You already have 7 or 8 sections, just use those to break it up.Ther's no harm in using that many text modules.
My 2 cents worth.
John
Good that you are getting so many hits. My hubpages hits pale in comparison. So far only made less then $1.
You only have 2 hubs neither of which really seem to be buying hubs : you need to write on subjects which encourage visitors who want to purchase something
ok hey, so i havent used this much but what is adsense, the only other site ive used is Triond and there u just post stuff and they start paying u, easy
so i guess i have to do a little more work , how do i make it so i have high add's on and like adsense or w/e?
also john what do u mean by making it like seperate? i dont really understand
It means you have to break your writing into several pieces. You can do this by creating more text capsules. After that, you can insert anyhing (pictures, ads) between the text capsules.
holy fuck this is hella more complicated then triond :X lol
does anyone else use triond too how would u compare the money makin possibilities?
and thanks for the info paul
I'm not that familiar with Triond, but this might give you some idea of the relative traffic difference between the two sites. In general, on HubPages you can expect to make anywhere from $2-5 for every thousand times your hubs are viewed.
What's that little sickly blue worm at the bottom of the graph
That's Triond's traffic.Light green is Hubpages global and dark green is hubpages US.
I know
Though I thought at first that the US HP traffic was trionds (before I saw the legend at the bottom) and I thought 'wow, they're not doing that badly". But then I noticed that little worm crawling across the bottom there.
He looks like a lonely little fella.
I thought the exact same thing! I was like "wow, it's interesting how close the traffic peaks and valleys are between the two sit--.... wait a second. What is that unambitious blue snake doing at the bottom of this graph? OOOH"
Lol, I should have guessed that. Yeah that one doesn't seem to be enjoying it's journey yet
ah i remember i tryed to sign up for adsense a long time ago and i never got the email to confirm, now when i try to log in no matter what i do its telling me im doing it wrong...how can i confirm my account or like erase the stuff thats there
cuz now it says if i try to sign up that my emails already signed up but if i try to log in it says my email doesnt exist.....kinda assbackwards...
I've been waiting for my adsense to activate as well. When I try to log in to adsense now it says I should have a response within a week, but initially I thought it said 1-2 days. I have ads on my hubs, though. Has it taken anyone else more than a couple of days to receive approval?
I've heard of cases where it has taken a week or more, but typically it is faster than that. If you don't hear from them for a few more days you might try following up with their support people. In the big scheme of things, a few days either way isn't going to have a significant impact on your long term earnings.
LOL...I'm absolutely sure that is true--I have a lot to learn!
Thank you for the quick response, Paul! I'll check with adsense in a couple of days.
I write at Triond occasionally. I have a couple of thousand views and have earned $2.14. So far, I've earned at least 3 times that at Hubpages so far, and I only have around 1,400 views.
People need to click on the ad's for you to make some money. Either they are not clicking the ad's on this hub or you have setup adsense wrong.

Recently, I am trying to figure out leading revenue sharing article writing sites. One of my friend suggested me Triond-do you have any idea about this site? Please share your experience about the top article writing sites.

Who is making money off ads on my hubs if I don't have an adsense account?Adsense hasn't approved me yet, but there are google ads on my hubs. If they don't think my site is worthy enough to approve my application, then why are they advertising on my hubs, and who is getting the money?

Hi Everyone,So I'm over here from Triond, checking out the competition and seeing if there's anywhere better. In general I like Triond. Yes, it's an anarchic wasteland with editors who screw up more than they fix, little moderation, and a lot of spam. But the pay scale is simple... you're paid based...

Hi all,I've only just recently join Hubpages and already have 2 articles. Now, I tried to set up an account for the Hubpages earnings program which seems to have gone smoothly. So when I click on the earnings tab on my account at the top, then click on configure program, it tells me that the first...

I currently have 10 featured hubs and am able to see live ads on my site. But when I apply for Google Adsense...it is getting disapproved. Please someone help me out. Able to see ads but why Adsense not approving me. Thanks...
