   What Aha! Moments have you had as a Hubber?
   
   I have writing actively here for about 3 months and have had 3 revelations about this site, namely adding interesting ads to each article,(20% increase in page views and some extra Amazon revenue) participating in the community (follow and be followed, participate in forums and here) and how an irresistible title can increase your page views by as much as 50% .  What are your moments?

   I'm still having Aha moments, I barely finished my 10th hub and I don't have a high score. Maybe I need to participate more in these columns.

      Hi Valerie:  You might want to look at Inbound Writer as a method of getting you more views on your hubs and get you a higher score.  It's an online seo website program that helps you tune your articles.  It's free for the first 4 articles per month

   When I had 1k views in just a day. That went on for almost a week. Maybe I should write more to bring back those victorious moments..hehe

   My aha moments are moments that come about as the result of my journey from my first hub through to my latest hub (almost fifty now). I look back over my hubs and look at what was successful and what was not.
   
   The first aha moment was around the power of pictures in my hubs (my first few hubs had no or very few photos).
   
   My second was linking them to each other or creating groups of hubs based on a similar topic to entice readers to read more than one of my hubs.
   
   My latest was around the titles I use. Rather than describing what it does, I now think why would a user want to read my hub and use something that will draw a user into clicking on my hub.
   
   As you get better at writing hubs, you will slowly evolve your style and will get better and better as time goes on. The standard of my hubs is far higher than it was when I started. I now go back to older hubs when I can and redo them.

   My aha moment first happened when I realized the connections and attachments to other hubbers you experience. And another one happened actually when I wasn't hubbing due to a busy schedule, but my page views continued and followers increased. At any rate, I'm glad to be back because another aha moment was finding out how enjoyable it is being part of the hub. Kathi )

   Aha! So writing Hubs is NOT about making money!
   
   That's my biggest Aha moment and the best one too. I'm writing here since a while and I can honestly say, Hubpages is the coolest webpage since social networking exists.
   
   Instead of being focussed on the money making part, creating good stuff and getting Hubbers to comment on your work, has been extremely fullfilling and far more pleasing, than getting worked up over low earnings.
   
   You make friends here! You feel valuable as a person and as a writer! You can give back the Hublove and Hubbers will appreciate it for sure!
   
   No money in the world can pay for so many grateful Hubbers that follow you and your work.

      certainly there is a great feeling of satisfaction producing a decent article and sharing with my many friends here.  Maybe you're right that it's not about the money (because I'm getting $0.02 per hour) but some extra $$$ would be a nice thing too.
