   Apprentice - What was your hubber score when you were accepted into the HubPages Apprentice Program?
   
   How many hubs did you already have published when you applied?

   My score hovers between 83 and 92. I had written about 75 hubs. I don't think that is all they are looking for. I feel like they want you to demonstrate a desire to work intensely with the program. If you are applying, good luck! It's a great program!

      Thanks btrbell!  I'm considering applying but thought maybe I should write more hubs first in case they consider length of time you are a member and how many hubs you already have published in that time.

      I think one important thing is to publish at least 8 hubs a month to demonstrate that you can keep up. I had over 60 hubs and a hubber score that never dropped below 90, but I was turned down.

   I think my score was around a 96 and I had about 35 hubs. (Began the AP March 2012)
   
   Being in the Apprenticeship Program has not really affected my hubber score. My score usually hovers around 94 and can fluctuate anywhere between 88 - 97. The hubber score is an internal measure for HubPages and is a true mystery for many. Just an opinion, don't focus too much on the score; I've had fellow friends with a 100 hubber score and their traffic is sometimes lower than those in the low 90's. Again, it is a HubPages algorhythm mystery.
   However, if you are curious about external traffic and income these two areas have shown a steady and significant increase for me. I'm sure the knowledge I gained in the AP helped with that. Plus, hub maturity (and quality) does seem to matter. Regardless, Google does have updates and traffic can fluctuate. In the end, don't worry about the score.

   Mine fluctuated in the 80's, occasionally getting into the 90's before I started the program, I had about 50 hubs or so.
   
   I was in the second group that participated in the program so we have been done for a while now.  It is 100% accurate that your score will fluctuate but mine has stayed in the 90's for months now and I even had a couple of days at 100.
