What is this purple color?
What is this purple color to all of my hub titles in my account?
Look at the key at the bottom of the listing of your Hubs. It appears that the purple either means ads have been disabled or the Hubs are missing summaries.
Purple is the default color indicating that a hyperlink has been visited. So it just means that you have clicked on the title of your hub and visited the page. If you clear your recent history on your browser, the colors return to normal.
I always clear cookies, clean cache and clear the history. So this isn't the reason either. I even updated a couple and they are all on purple.
That doesn't always change it back. It just meant you have visited your hub from your account page by clicking on the title. Eugbug is right. And mine stay purple no matter if I clear history or not.
Just to state the obvious, when you clear your history, the check box for "history" needs to be checked. Also the page must be reloaded/refreshed to update everything and clear the purple color from visited links!
Actually I believe if the text of your hub title is in purple, these are considered "featured" hubs. This means they are featured on the category page. So if your hub is in the Automobile category and it is purple, you might very well see it listed at the top of that category page in Hubpages. Hope this helped.
It just means you have visited the hub. It will be blue if you haven't visited it. It is too help you know if you missed one. It is your browser that changes it. Some browsers do not.
It simply means that you have visited the hub; either to edit it or for some other reason. The one's you have not visited will have a light blue color. Hope this helps.

I am having a problem when I insert a link into a hub. For some reason it is appearing as a light grey color that is very difficult to see, instead of the bright blue that is supposed to appear. Has any one experienced this and if so, do you know how to fix it?

What is your single most-visited hub? Why do you think it's so popular?Mine is "The Best Homemade Mexican Salsa". It doesn't have polls, videos or any other features that are supposed to drive more traffic and yet it consistently gets more views.

Fed up with "B". I have concluded that the continual crash and burns are just never going to stop. I've given up."B" has been around for two years I think. Seems to me some clones should have shown up by now. If anyone knows of any, I would really appreciate hearing about it;...

Why are my ad impressions only half of what HubPages shows for traffic for each day? I know they receive a 40% cut (which is demotivating for me, I'd rather it be 70/30 or even 80/20, that would be way more motivating), but it seems even with the 40%, my impressions are low.

I like hopping hubs, learning new things and meeting other hubbers. However, I have absolutely no interest in reading hubs on religion, politics, poems, fictional stories or some far away place I will never visit so I skip them. Usually this is no big deal but I just hopped about 30 hubs and no...
