My hubber score hit 100 today! What did I do differently? And how do I keep on doing it?
I only wish I knew, Kathleen! My hubber score has been 100 for several days, but fluctuated last week. I know of nothing different I've done (am reading and commenting at approximately the same rate), nor has my hub traffic improved appreciably. I don't have a new hub, and the scores of my existing hubs also fluctuate. This has happened a few times before, but my overall score usually lingers in the upper 90s. (I'll check this space to discover if someone else knows the answer. Hub scores and overall hubber score mystified me from day one on HP.)

Congratulations, and I really wish I knew! I believe it is pretty much a mystery to all here on HP.
Being a 100, or not, comes and goes. I woke up one morning, looked at Hubpages and was "still a 100", went to make a coffee, sat back down at the PC and I was a 99.
It's based on an algorithm regarding traffic/sources, links, interaction, votes and similar - but it's best not to worry about keeping it at all else you'll lose the writing focus and just obsess over the number.
I hit 100 several days ago and it stayed that way over the weekend. But, today it is at a 97. I hadn't done anything differently and in fact I had been neglecting hubpages for about a week due to a move.
One thing I did note was that during this time I had 100+ "Fammers" (Fan spam; companies, "professionals" exc.) which began following me. One hubber indicated in the forums that generally your hub score sinks when you become a victim of fammers. But, it was contrary for me. I'm not sure what kind of an impact it had on my score, but, may be worth a shot to get more followers.
I had reported all the fake followers and have seen several banned from hubpages which may be the reason my score dropped down to 97 today.
Mine fluctuates a lot too. 93-88 and goes down when my traffic is rising. No clue whatsoever how this works. But nobody said "Get off of here" yet, so I figured I am good
These are about the answers I expected. This was a first for me, and having just passed the two year mark, I thought I'd celebrate. I get a little freaked out when my score rises when I've been off HP for a time. Makes you wonder.

Who thinks we should ask to reinstate a page dedicated to locating hubbers by hubber score. Beginning with 100-0.We once had such a page here that made the hubber score much more relevant, and we could at least get a chance to locate the top hubbers who most definitely deserved high praise for...

Is HubPages trying to discourage its writers and get them to quit writing?Every time I publish a hub my Hubber score goes down then it goes up by 1-2 points and then down by 1-2 points. Then when I am not on here for a day or two it goes down by more than 2 points. This is very...

I'm thinking the answer is probably yes?If you have hubs that have been deemed "not featured", for one reason or another, will that factor into lowering your overall score/rating as a HubPages member? Example--let's say your overall rating is 75. If 10 non featured hubs become...

Just had a big drop on my profile score. And all my hubs were featured along with a steady 10 Editors Choice. I say 'were' because 3 were just unfeatured and I don't know what to do about that. My views are over 945,000. Boo-hoo. Hubpages doesn't love me anymore!

I've been on here for a few years, and I guess I never really understood the point of these scores. They don't seem to provide any real value to the user and I can't convince myself that they add value because they fluctuate so much. What's the point? Am I supposed to use these scores to tell me...

I took a hiatus for awhile from Hub Pages! However, in the past week or so, I have added new hubs participated in forums, asked a question or two, participated with the Hub Hopper, have read some Hubs, yet my Hubber Score is lower than it was when I was doing nothing. I don't get it!
