    Hi everyone!
I'm just new here and  I am curious about the number next to my profile pic. It is just 27 before, day by day it's increasing. Now it's showing 57. Can somebody tell me what it is? Any further explanations about this will be highly appreciated.
Thanks and have great hobs ahead! big_smile

That's your hubber score. Everyone pretty much laid out what it means. Welcome to Hubpages, have fun.

You can't hide it .... the only way out is to work harder and/or talk more nonsense here in the forums to increase your author score.  It's not hard to increase it into the 80s-90s, I wrote a hub about getting an author score of 100 and it didn't hold any "secrets" at all, just that you need to write some stuff, read a bit, answer some stuff ....

    All the best smile

I don't know what you're talking about... I only say highly intelligent things concerning issues of great importance. That's why my score is currently up.

It can extend your "Grace period" for hubs being unfeatured, and if it's over 75 all your outgoing links are "dofollow".

However it won't change your traffic or earnings.

hahaha... for a moment I was so happy cause I assumed you didn't even like me. (Don't feel bad, I always assume that about ppl.) Then for a brief moment, I thought I was among the chosen few... then the ax dropped and I realized I had allowed myself to dream too big.

Beth, Beth, Beth.  No.  Too dramatic.

Beth. You know and I know you know that it was just a joke.  Quite a good one if I may say so.  One that I could only dare to make with someone who has incisive intellect and sparkling whatever.  Someone who would get the joke and not go off on one as we like to say in Engerland.

Mark, you could spit on me and I think I'd be ok with it. I doubt you noticed, but I added a link to your hub... if you ever find your way back over there, click on the word "fantasy". This is how a man with a quick wit looks to me. lol

I didn't notice and I can't find it. Please note - I delete all comments with links in so don't be offended - if I ever find it.  As for spitting on women - those days are over for me.

It's a hubber score. The higher is the better. Keep on writing great quality hubs, spreading word about them, and being active within the community.

The truth is much more profound. What does your hub author score really mean and how to increase it?
The answers are here . . .  smile

      Im down another point. <sigh>
My elevated score was all I had left. I have no desire to live on a world wide web in which my rating is lower than 100 points. Fair well earth dwellers.
