I am completely new to creating web pages. I just joined here and I see I have to enter my Adsense ID. I haven't yet created an ID. I guess it's a simple process through Hubpages? Yet to create hubs too, but I was wondering if I can apply for it now or I should wait till I create a few hubs and get some traffic to my webpages.

Kinda apprehensive after hearing horror stories of adsense being very strict and stuff like that. Help!

You will need some hubs and wait for few months to get approved.

I applied when I started a blogger blog (hosted by google) and got approved very quickly. Then I had the id needed when I came here so it was easy for me that way.

I think it depends where you live as people from India do not have much luck. I live in England as was approved with only a few hubs. Maybe take a chance, but write some good hubs first.

If you read the actual AdSense terms, Google has stipulated that applicants from India and China must have established web presences for six months before applying for the program.

So make some great Hubs for six months, then apply to AdSense.

Its because 90% of them cheat. In fact if you search for 'Adsense' in Facebook, you will find tens of thousands of people from that part of the globe exchanging 'clicks' and 'impressions'. If it is ruining it for the rest of us then I would be happy enough for them to change their terms of service to state emigration before application.

Just did that Facebook search and you are so right.  In fact right in their instruction in one group they talk about spending 5 minutes each day to click an adsense add on certain websites.

What a crock and no wonder honest marketers are getting shafted on a daily basis.

And don't forget--if you don't get approved the first time, you can build up a few more hubs and try again a few months later smile

And welcome to hubpages, by the way! big_smile

When I signed up for Hubpages, I also signed up for Adsense, which was approved with 1 weeks time. I started out with 5 hubs, then jumped to about 20 in about 3 weeks.

It will take time for adsense to add up, depending what you're writing about or other content on your Hubs.

Good luck, with whatever you're doing. And, Welcome to ALL New Hubbers.

Thank you.  Hope I helped some.

    Dale that is unreal!
I just did the same thing and found the groups you were talking about.
Some are even run like MLM.
As all-seeing as Google is...you mean they haven't found these and shut them down yet?

Would you apply to law school without an undergraduate degree?

The point is you need to have something pre requisite to your application.  Adsense will approve applications when you can show them some way that they will benefit.  Google does NOT care about you they care about your ability to make them money.

So write a few hubs - I'd suggest bout 15 to show them you are serious.  Or create a blog with 15 articles.

    Then apply.

You need to reach $100 before you get paid so there is no point in applying early just to be denied. And the few clicks you might get in the interim don't add up to much.

Then of course you should take the time to read my hubs on how to make money with Adsense.  I do quite well, and anyone who is willing to work at it can as well.

Wow! I sign in back after a day and I see so many replies. Thank you all for helping. It's sad to see click frauds going on, especially since such accusations are being associated with my home country. Because of those frauds, even we have to suffer! Really sad...

But I will start my work here. I love writing. Looking forward to reading all of your hubs too.

Once again, thank you for all the help.

why to worry about adsense, there are lot of other ad networks you can put in your blog like bidvertiser and all...but we cannot put those in hubs..
