      Left a comment with a supposed joke attack at TMMason. He later posted apology hubs which are still up, and agreed that what he had done was wrong, and was then banned anyway.

    Everyone who has been banned has been banned for a violation of our forum rules.
    
    Bans for personal attacks are temporary - 3 days for the first violation, and increasingly longer (and eventually permanent) durations for subsequent bannings (because it's increasingly difficult to feign ignorance of the rules), and only apply to the forums. You can still publish Hubs.
    
    We really, really don't like wasting our time moderating posts when people can't act in a civil manner in an online forum, but we will to make sure our rules are adhered to.

       Suggestion:
       
       Don't allow people to post to the forum unless they have published hubs, maybe a set minimum number.
       
       Most of the worse violators seem to be 'ghosts' i.e. people who joined last week and have no hubs and no followers and no intention of doing anything except hide behind their sock puppet troll identity.
       
       It can be difficult to stay balanced on the forums, especially as some posters are masters at winding up their adversaries.
       
       Personally I disliked the name GodIsDead spelled in reverse, too many satanic overtones for me, but He or She was not that bad and they never bothered me with their 'humor', which is what they posted most of the time if I remember correctly.

          About the name, there isn't a lot you can do about that. A first offence ban should be three days in that case though. Has Bloodnlatex been banned before? Has Smooth As Silk? Man, this is a sad day for forums... R.I.P Free speech

    The rules are on page two of this thread and yes there are those who will report just because the choose to , but this is the reason why I wrote this thread because all of the reporting is sometimes unneccesary and HP does not have time for all of the bickering and pettiness. I hope the New Year brings less bans and more one-on-one resolution. Just my opinion.

             Playing with it is fun! - and the new CS versions make life simple to manipulate photos and stuff, but it's an expensive program, and if all you need to do is play, try a open source freeware program called GIMP, which is almost Photoshop, but a lot better than some of the other 'basic' art programs, and free is as good as it gets!
             
             The lake behind your profile pic looks just like the lake near where I used to live...

          6 weeks and already 6 hubs...dang you did better than me when I forst started! can't remember how many I had when I first stared...but it took a long time to get to 100 hubs phew! good luck to reaching 100

             What people,(we), don't know, is infintismally greater, than what we do know. That applies to all fields of thought and study. Including Science.

       All writers suffer from that, "Writer's Block", it isn't a myth.
       
       But you can compile. Just reaserch and be sure to includ all viewpoints. I try not to argue for or against in a complation.
       
       My beliefs are mine and I shouldn't infect a, non-partisan,(for lack of a better phrase or word.), compilation of facts with my own ideologies.
       
       I try, mind you. lol
       
       It isn't the easiest thing to accomplish.

       Yep, that lake is beautiful and we would take a drive around it that took us through Holm Oak forests where Iberian pigs fed from the acorns for four years before becoming Jamon Iberica a wonderfully sweet ham sured in salt and hung in all the local bars where you ate it with a decent red Rioja wine and some ancient Manchego cheese....
       
       You can never lose more than up to your last save in any program.... go for it!
