The spammers are alive and thriving on HubPages at the moment. I've just clicked on three different forum topics to find a spammer post. I felt like a policewoman but I reported them.
I'm beginning to think that the suggestion (on the forum a week or so back) that new hubbers are restricted from making contributions for a given time period has some merit.
also the 'questions' section should be more tightly controlled. I put a joke question in it called "is this question pointless?" and it got pulled!, yet all the other pointless spammy ones are still there.

I have flagged this up to hub pages- remember dont answer or comment on his posts or they will stay around til the hub pages team can exclude him

I found a site-- choicehomeinc dot info -- that seems to use some kind of automated spamming; looks like they pull things off the web and create nonsensical articles with your user name and a link that just leads back...

I notice a spammer has figured out to reply to comments in questions and is posting their crap. If you ask a question, please delete the spam comments
