i want to post a hub i just figured out how to write in my profile haha! and once you have written your hub is there an option where you can categorize it before you publish it so that ppl who like writing can see it or ppl who love dogs can read one on dogs and so on?
You have already a hub. So you know how to post it.
You can categorize it by assigning it to a group. As u told, if ur topic is dog u can chose a group pet or dog or animal.
If you want to write a Hub, just click on "start a new Hub" and follow the instructions.
However, I should point out that HubPages is not a blogging site, and your first Hub does sound rather like a blog post. If you are here to make money, then you need to think of interesting subjects for your Hubs - for instance instead of writing about yourself and mentioning your dog, write in more detail about your dog's breed and behaviour and include some pictures.

I have been seeing a lot of forum spam lately. I think it could be *greatly* reduced by only allowing new sign-ups to post under the help section until they've published one hub. After they've published their first hub,...
