How is it? Is it worth checking out for backlinking and a little extra money on the side?

I do. I haven't really earned anything from it (a grand total of 67 cents right now!) but some people do, if their contest is featured, or if they win the contests. From what I've heard, it is good for creating a pretty good backlink.

Sounds good, I was just looking over the contest and it looks like if you write informative and helpful blog posts you get entered into the contest. I am going to spend the next couple of days backlinking there. We'll see if I get anything from it smile

RedGage is a good site to post links to your hubs, the money is not anything to brag about, but on occasions you can make some cash. I recently received a prepaid card from them worth about $25.89 and I have been on their site for about 2 months. I only use it for back linking purposes.

I've been trying to use it for nearly 2 years, but it's too slow loading and mostly doesn't work for me.

I wanted to use that "import" feature for my blogs, but that's never worked.  I get as far as pressing the submit button, only that's where it stays.... it never submits and never has.  Tried loads of browsers.

And then understanding/navigating the rest of the site (especially as it's slow) means I can't be 4rsed smile

I think you will earn money if you keep posting there for years. But, it is great for back links and driving traffic to your website.

Yes, and I have earned a bit of money as well as winning the draws.  smile  But, it's cumbersome to use and is time consuming -- both turn me off.  If you have the time, it's good for backlinking.  There's a strong presence of hubbers there as well as outside members.  Like all revenue sites, it takes time, persistence and patience.

I joined RedGage two days ago.  I have added a few links.  I am looking for friends if anyone wants to add me.  I did happen to win a contest on my first day there.  I think that is pretty cool.

I don't believe a person can make a lot of money there but every little bit helps.  Backlinks always help and Redgage is PR 4 I think.
