Hard to describe, but you will see what I mean if you go to the forum thread http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/84897

Essentially certain replies are appearing in a 'Skyscraper' type appearance. The quoted post it is replying to appears to be the problem and the part that looks strange.

I experienced the exact same issue earlier when I tried to reply to someone's post, and it took me several attempts before I could get the quote to appear in a 'normal' shaped box above my reply.

Probably a glitch, but needs to be reported to the programmers.

I don't see any difference between that thread and any other. hmm

Have you scrolled down to about the fourth or fifth comment Cags? It isn't on every post, only on the later ones.
Edit: one of the two affected posts now looks normal, but the penultimate post still looks odd now, see screenshot below:

Just been back again and they all look normal now. Perhaps HP were already on the case and put it right.

Now your comment looks like it in the quote above my previous post here on this thread!!

It looks normal to me on my screen. My screen doesn't look like what the picture you posted.

Your last reply looks odd too in the same way. Perhaps a staff member can explain this, and why it is I am seeing it differently to you. I am using Chrome, what are you using?

Hmmm, am now in Firefox and it looks normal to me too, so it must be Chrome issue I suspect. This is a problem for me to some degree as I am avoiding using FF right now because it crashes on me every five minutes or so, whereas Chrome has been fine!

I am too right now, but expecting it to crash on me again any second now. Hope the Chrome problem goes away soon so I can revert back to it instead. smile

You're not the first person I've heard having trouble with Chrome. Someone started a thread the other day about Chrome attempting to destroy Hubpages. hmm

Interesting, I haven't had those specific problems, but it all seems so random somehow, some users have problems that others don't on whichever browser they are using. Seems like a bit of a lottery to me as to which one you choose and if you are likely to get any problems with it. hmm

I've been very happy using FireFox since I switched over from Internet Explorer. I didn't switch to Chrome even though it had great reviews from many users. I opted to stay with FireFox since I wasn't having issues.

I'm sorry to hear you're having issues with both. I would be glad to help, but I don't know what to suggest, considering you're having issues with both. I mean, considering issues with both would lead me to think that it's your system that is the problem? But, that opens an entirely different can of worms. hmm
