I think so. I think there is a lot of great people here and it is like one big family. I have my son on my profile and I didn't think twice. I know where you are coming from asking because you just never know.

I have if the content is appreciate. I am careful the picture, the style and content. Sometimes being personal is needed for the overall impact of your writing. However you need to decide. Using pictures that are not as personal can still make your point. In the end this decision needs to be a reflection of your values.

I don't feel comfortable posting any photos of my family at all. Feet are OK in my opinion, that's funny.

No one should be comfortable posting pics of their children ANYWHERE on the Internet.  It would be great if we could, but it is not safe. The authorities call them "predators" for a reason. They are everywhere, in your community, but they are particularly on the Internet and they will do whatever they can think of and use whatever technology they can to shop for victims.

I generally am comfortable with it...to the left there you can see me and my son, and my kids and husband do have their pictures in a few of my relationship hubs and what-not. That said, I don't specifically say which pictures are my kids and which are just pictures from Wikimedia Commons that matched what I was trying to say about a particular toy, book, or other kid-related thing. We also live in a very small out-of-the-way community where everybody knows everybody, and no one is allowed to smoke inside in our 24-unit housing complex, so the half-dozen or so smokers have become the de facto neighborhood watch. If anyone turns up around here that we don't know, everyone knows about it immediately, so I'm not really concerned about my kids' safety.

My husband...I'll post his picture all over the place, if someone decides to hunt him down with less-than-wholesome intentions then it's their own fault what happens to them wink.

I am comfortable posting pictures of my children, but I am careful to be obscure about my location and I don't reveal my last name.

I feel comfortable sharing photos of my family on hub pages because my children post pictures on other sites like facebook and My Space.  I don't mention their last names and would never post something that would embarass them.  If you don't feel comfortable doing that, then don't do it.
