I like the light and airy crispness of a Lay's Potato Chip, especially the lower sodium brand. I've also discovered an off-brand at Save-A-Lot (J.Higgins) that has a rich flavor. But Lay's will always remain number one for me.

I really don't like the classic lays chip.

My husband loves the J.Higgins brand of chips. They are only $1.79 here in Georgia, which is a  awesome price!

Sounds like a great idea!  Try Voodoo chips if you are in Southern USA

This is going to sound odd, but the best chips I've ever eaten were a bag of 7-11 (yes, the convenience store) brand kettle cooked jalepeno potato chips. I could get them at the 7-11 where I lived in NY, but can't find them here in NC. Sad.

Doesn't matter what brand they are, kettle cooked jalapeno chips are amazing.

These had the flavor just right though. A little heat without burning my face off and I could still taste the potato. Some chips overdo the spice, but these are perfect!

I really like the crunch and flavor or kettle cooked salt and vinegar chips.  Ooh so good.   I also enjoy "earthquake chips" sold by a California Company of course.  They aare like a mixture of salt & vinegar and honey mustard flavor.

For me the best chips are Salt and vinegar, oregano (I think Lays is the only brand to make these), and chilli. The brand doesn't really matter but if I had to chose I would say Lays.
