I recently joined the Hub. I applied for Adsense. There are already a few ads in my two hubs. Actually, Google sent me the numbers and when I opened the affiliated account it is active and so Amazon. My problems are: when I opened my account in Adsense it is disapproved. I wonder why they keep on posting ads on my hubs. Amazon is active but no ads yet.
Why is this?
You have to add an Amazon capsule to get Amazon ads.
1. Write some more hubs. At least a total of 10. (Good Quality. Traffic and contentwise)
2. Apply for Google Adsense, Amazon, ebay and kontera. Apply through Hubpages. In case of any problem, write an e-mail to Hubpages Team.
3. When you are approved, Sign-in to your adsense, amazon, ebay and kontera accounts and copy the Publisher ID and Paste in your affiliate settings.
4. You are done.
5. Till then, If you have opted your hubs to be "Commercial", Google ads will appear on all your hubs using the Adsense ID of Hubpages. In this case all income goes to Hubpages.
Any Other question ?
Yes, I am new to hub pages.Even my Ad sense account is rejected. Should I reapply for ad sense or should I contact HP team. And how to contact the hub pages team ?
Because AdSense ads will run on your Hubs using HubPages' account code when it's not running yours.
No the source is irrelevant - all they care about is that it is a genuine click - but they'll ban you if they suspect fraud, eg clicking on your own ads. In practice most hubbers believe the best traffic for clicks is search engines. Hubbers are much less likely to click on ads.
You have to place Amazon products on hubs yourself. They don't just appear.
I have had my troubles as well, but I am totally computer illiterate. I have personal help at home...For me that is what I need.
Generally 2 lonely hubs are not enough to start earning. Well, of course if you create them keyword-specific with galores of traffic thanks to promotion, you will make some money even with 2 hubs. But this is somewhat hard especially if you're a novice. I can make a guessing that out of 100 hubs 20 will be bringing as much profit as the rest 80.
8 days and 2 hubs isn't enough to start complaining about the affiliates. Definitely try again if you were denied adsense. If you don't want the ads, you'll need to mark your hubs as such. I believe the ads will still show on the HP impression though, and they will still show without your ID as the HP ID will be used.
You need to use the amazon and ebay capsules in order to have products appear. It's best to hand pick your products for amazon, though, versus use the keyword search.
Try writing more and keep at it. It's going to take more time for you to earn a good bit of money.
Well... in order to get an adsense account you've gotta have a website of your own. And this website has to pass whatever verification google requires. I got my adsense account two weeks after applying.
It took me a while to figure out what and how, etc... lol ...and it's great you asking the right people! the pro-Hubbers, it will take time but it will be fun.
Thanks to all your advice! Most of the time technology really make us feel "ignorant". Happy New Year
Yeah adsense money..........? Sometime it takes long to hit that $100 mark sometimes 2-3 yrs for some publishers. More over pay-per-click is very less only few cents.

Have any of you found detestable ads on your hubs? It is a "game" with girls in bras...how distasteful I want it off my hub...do you know if we have a say in this? It has nothing to do with my poem and is disgusting to me.

This probably is one of the worse days of my life, after so much effort I have put online, here I stand with my Adsense account disabled due to invalid click activity. I don't have any clue why this happened! I have been here at Hubpages for more than 3 years and make more than 90% of my earning...

I've never generated a cent from these two programs and they've also never really worked properly. Constantly my adsense claims its active then I'm not approved, then it just mucks up everything. I'm not making any money on hubs as it is but this isn't helping anything.

Well, that’s nice, very nice. I haven’t got a clue of what I did wrong. And after filling in the online appeal form they told me they had reviewed my account information, taken my feedback into account, but still had concluded that my AdSense account has posed a significant risk. And I have no idea...

Who is making money off ads on my hubs if I don't have an adsense account?Adsense hasn't approved me yet, but there are google ads on my hubs. If they don't think my site is worthy enough to approve my application, then why are they advertising on my hubs, and who is getting the money?
