What is the biggest fish you caught?

   I have caught a couple 15 pound Channel Catfish.
   
   Haven't had a chance to go for monsters yet, but I plan on really getting some big ones in the near future.

         Don't you get tired of that smell?
         
         I never end up catching anything big when I fish, just end up drinking beer and wasting a lot of line/hooks.

                  I spent some time going to the Key Biscayne bridge with my fishing pole and bucket. After a week of feeding bait to the fish, I gave up. LOL The fisherman used to make fun of me. Can you believe that?! My fishing dreams were smashed!!!

      Mickey: if ya ever get the chance to fish below Bonneville DAm in the months of May and June....do it! 2 yrs ago I caught a 400 lb 9ft long sturgeon! Biggest fish Ive ever caught. Took 2 hours to land it, measure it weigh it and return it to the river. Seriously, give it a shot.

         They're a blast, aren't they!  I caught a 5' one in Idaho two years ago, though it "only" took an hour to land it.  I haven't been back, but sure intend to.

            wilderness> I'm definitely  goin' back next year..I'll be staying at "fish camp" on the oregon side just below the dam.
            Great fight and the smaller ones are good in the barby...:-)

   Haha it don't show up too well like this, but when I was younger I gigged a Gar about this big {-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------] longer than I was tall at 10 years of age.

         My biggest catch was my husband... ...will always remain... I just saw this post and thought of wriiting this but you beat me to it!!!

   I have had some beauties over the years.
   
   Best fun was a 14' Makko while fishing in an 8' rowboat
   It towed me all over the harbor for 3 hours before I managed to get a tail rope on him, when he ate my outboard motor.
   (A Very Stupid Thing to do... 'coz they go crazy )

   14 lb Rainbow Trout with a Lead Spinner - 22 design
   380 lb Blue Fin Tuna trolling a squid bait
   And
   The Day I Lost my Brother.. A Great White on a Goat Bait; after he drew the short straw

         There have been some big fish posted here my biggest fish are carp of 39lb from France and 38.5 lb from the UK.

   Let me see...
   27 lb Flathead catfish
   30 lb<estimate> stingray
   12 lb carp
   and a 6 lb bass
   I know...not too impressive. But keep in mind, for 18 yrs of my life I fished a farm pond. Just now started fishing at the river. This year has been my year for nice fish!
