well thanks. however, im not going on any second date with anyone. i just wanted to open up this forum to see what others will say.  besides, i can always use the advice later on if i ever do find some girl to go out with me. lol.

well..I am a girl, Ive never been on a date but I can say the things that I would like to do if ever taken on one....if it helps?

I would say, the guy should not be really negative about himself or really overly "Im so great". I dont want to fight to get one second of attention, but I dont want to deal with  fake compliments either.

For you Steven, I would think going to the movies with the right girl, would be an awesome date. If you find a girl with similar taste in movies...just treat her the same way you treat us all here on HP. Really listen, be honest, kind and considerate. DONT FAKE IT!!!! Soo...movies, first date, real fun..second date? step up a notch with dinner first?

Haha. I'm married. But since the break between relationships is usually a few weeks or months, I'm sure both parties would be thinking it.

They're both too polite to say it and too busy buttering each other up on the first date. So the second date it is!

oh you are?  sorry. i didn't know.  well your husband is a lucky guy then, and your right.  most people probably do think that way, but probably don't act on it most of the time due to consideration or whatever.  anyways, thanks for the advice. tongue
