Is it better to delete older hubs that get no traffic?

   I have two series of story hubs that are currently receiving no traffic. They are two fantasy novellas, each serialized/published in a series of six hubs. They weren't written with traffic in mind, and I am not about to rewrite them to increase their SEO value, though if anyone has an idea on better tags that would be wonderful.
   
   My question is this: should I keep them or remove them?
   
   I could try adding an RSS feed of may latest hubs - that might improve their score and get a few visitors.
   
   I am wondering, though, if there might be a better platform for them than HubPages - one that allows me to retain ownership and copyright, but that is better suited to such writing?

      Good question, I have a series as well, the traffic rises and falls.

      Normally I'd say, no don't ever delete old Hubs.  However in this case, I'd say delete them.
      
      Fiction rarely does well on sites like HubPages.  It's not designed for it.  For one thing, if readers find your novella at all, they're just as likely to land on the last chapter as the first one. 
      
      I'd delete them and self-publish them as proper novellas at Smashwords:
      
      http://www.smashwords.com/about
      
      Then join as many Fantasy forums as you can find, become part of their communities and start mentioning your book.

   I have several hubs that get read maybe once a month if that.  I asked this very question about removing them, and I was told no, instead of taking them down, perhaps try rewriting parts, or improving them, tune the up making them better.  That was the advise I got.

   Thanks ddsurfsca, but these are serialized stories, and not something I can "tune up"
   
   Any other thoughts on this from anyone else who writes stories as well as the regular info or commercial hubs ?

      IMO if they're not monetized and they're not getting any traffic then maybe hubpages isn't the platform for them. You don't want to re-tune them.  Maybe you should think about self publishing them and make them available for free on the Kindle or Ipad or similar platform with links that point back to your other short stories here or elsewhere.   Download-able eBooks could become viral and really give your other writing a boost in traffic.  Check out Lulu.com

      Hi Red, on all my fiction hubs, they have done incredibly well.  In 18 months I have written maybe 8 commercial Hubs 9 right now, and my income has been generous.  I do donate it, but I wold go with your gut.  No 2 things can compare be the same
