    Yes.
    we can turn the other cheek but the slap is possible only after  GODS permission.No one can slap[i.e Confidential faith]

        I look at it this way, since I have only two cheeks, I will turn the other cheek, only once.

        Then I'm sorry I tried to do the right thing, but if you insist on hurting me, doing me wrong I will retaliate.

      Are you talking about the old Roman custom of soldiers or others in authority slapping someone back-handed, and then the victim having the choice to either do nothing or else to turn the other cheek, daring the attacker to strike them again (thereby shaming the attacker) ?

    My interpretation or (mis-)is that, one should not stop at helping because he was one abused for helping. I think it is used to preach "forgiveness." I do not think it should be used to promote, "passivity."
