If global justice still exist, why would international criminal court (ICC) order for the arrest of Sudan's President Al Bashir, leaving behind other deadly corrupt leaders from India,Egypt,USA,UK,Sri Lanka,Russia,North Korea and even Columbia?Just because the country seemed to be weak financially, militarily and otherwise.Let ICC start from the G8 corrupt nations to set the example and stop fooling Africans.
It isn't easy to take someone out of power if they have suspicion of it. Remember, even if we can do it we have to make sure not to start wars or anything when it isn't necessary. Most of the occurrences are elsewhere and we just don't need to deal with them while we are in a war.

It's to tedious and hard to pull fact to another fact and be for sure on it. There are a ton of things that have not even been solved in the United States. HELLO SAME SEX MARRIAGE AND ABORTION THERE ARE SOME MANY NATIONS THAT HAVE FIGURED THIS OUT ALREADY! COME ON!
Yes, and some of these countries answers like in countries under Russia near Iraq kill all gays and lesbians.
Also in some countries they don't need abortions, they just kill the living baby after it comes out due to the lack of birth control and the poverty/lack of food/excess of population in said country.
Do you think that's right at all? I personally don't. That's clearly why there still problems with it in the US about those things, there will never be no law against the killing of babies who deserve a chance and the law about same sex marriages, well that is only a problem because so many people believe it to be wrong/ have religious views on the subject, and we need to factor all there beliefs into the system because that's what freedom stands for.

Holy heck, this is a loaded thread.
Anyways, as two have you pointed out, there are laws on the books in many different countries that express different beliefs.
As for US policies...
In reality, as we are seeing in the States, the Federal government has grown too large in power and too dumb in scope. It can't manoeuvre its self quickly enough to get any thing soundly accomplished. And when they do rush things through, they make sure to throw in the kitchen sink too.
The idea that freedom means you can oppress the will of a minority (same sex marriage, for example) is inane. While I don't doubt people have beliefs for and against, religion and morality are totally separate from governing people justly. This is not to say I'm a Godless heathen, it is to say, the Federal government has no business in this type of discussion.
If more powers were observed and used by local governments both through cities/counties and states people could agree on the "morality" laws they like to follow and put them on the books accordingly. Therefore, when you realize you're around a bunch of people that don't agree with your particular views, you're free to move away and find a community better suited for you.
Here here! The very reason we are discussing this is because the states have lost their power! The beauty of a union is that parts of that union are free to believe differently. The Federal government was never meant to be discussing these issues. The 10th amendment is quite clear on that subject.
As for me, I am torn. Religiously I believe homosexuality to be wrong, but even there my religion teaches love of the person, if not the lifestyle. However, as an American I believe they do have the right. Even if you believe it is a choice, as I do, we respect other religions which is surely just as much of a choice.

Should I just accept that my husband won't vote?I almost never disagree with my husband. However he has the "No need to vote when they're all the same" mentality. I am really wanting him to vote or at least learn the issues because we will be moving to a new tax bracket soon and I believe...
