Hubpages allows you to add your RSS feed at the bottom of some of your hubs? So I did this about a year ago and they are now being flagged for to many links from the RSS feed. WTH gives now!
makes it a real pain in the butt to go back in and edit them all for that. They should be allowed since they are from a year or more ago if you ask me. Pretty much the reason i stopped using these content places in the first place looks like im done again
The larger percent of hubs not meet the new rules, the lower hubpages page rank sinks. Online content is a moving target.
yes I know that but i dont change my own blog posts from years ago because of new search engine stuff. I can understand the new ones.
Blog posts don't have an rss feed on the bottom of each post. You can effectively change them all by changing the template.
You can't use RSS feeds to your content unless it is relevant to the topic of the hub it is on. This means it is no longer allowed to place RSS feeds to your own 'latest Hubs'. Annoying I know as I spent ages deleting all of mine a few months back.
Two ways to deal with it.
Either take a hard line and refuse to update on principle, or
bite the bullet and be grateful that Hub Pages is on top of all the algo changes for us.
BTW, I'm currently going through all my hubs fixing the "broken" links created through the Hub Karma program. I'm not complaining. It's actually a good opportunity to back and read stuff I wrote months and months ago!
isn't the possibility of "bad sites" popping up in RSS feeds part of the problem now that HP has cracked down on external link destinations?
Hubpages penalised by the Google as content farm recently and now hubpages simply wants to gain their authority again.
So this kind of steps are obvious.
Actually, the Hubs were not removed for too many links, but for links to a prohibited site. It may have simply taken a while for the domain to come to our attention.
Yes that's why I removed all my RSS feeds, (in my alter-ego account), because RSS feeds are dynamic, and although you may start off with acceptable links, when the feed updates and shows a prohibited link - bam! You get unpublished.

I'm trying to understand RSS feeds. I think the capsule is a reader that aggreates feeds from other websites, but I'm not sure

I thought I read the new rules about word count and Amazon links, etc. and I put in the time to fix every single hub that was on the list that HP emailed me. Apparently some hubs didn't make the list and now I'm getting about 2 emails a day telling me that a hub of mine was unpublished for...

Whether I agree with HP's new policies or not, I respect the site's right to set their own rules. However, I think one of the reasons Hubbers are getting upset isthey're getting warnings based on rules they don't know existExamples:1. I have "overly promotional" warnings on several...

I really can't point any of you to the many discussions there were about whether RSS feeds that display our own Hubs in a specific Hub of ours are a violation of the HP rules or not.I read info that the "best", "latest", and "hot" categories were not appropriate to add...

Hi I recently received a warning, which I did not understand, but which, it turned out, actually referred to links to my own hubs ~ unrelated ones. I eventually sorted it out.I wondered why RSS feeds to our latest / best / hottest hubs were supplied, if we couldn't use them. Then I was told that we...

I am wondering about a new strategy i am trying. What I am doing is putting an RSS Feed into my best performing (Viewed) hubs with my latest (not indexed by Google) yet hubs. IS this a good way to have them "crawled"? Or is it better to add links instead so each hub stands alone?
