What is the nature of wisdom?
How do we know when we encounter it?
Do we know if and when we have attained wisdom?
Is seeking wisdom simply grasping at smoke?
Remember the lyric from Kansas
"And if I say that I'm a wise man,it surly means that I don't know"
IMO, we know it when we feel it, we feel it when we allow it, we allow it when our eyes are open, our eyes are open when we have wisdom. What I'm saying is it's always inside us but is often obscured by the experiences of the outside. And 'it' is not necessarily one lump of wisdom. It can be loosed in bits until what's inside overrides the outside.
Thanks for the follow, BTW. And it's about damn time, Mr.
Hey PDS,we no you've got some...so how about a glimpse?My printer's still on.
Out standing take on it.My printer is printing.[seriously]
Thanks. In the immortal words of the psychiatrist in Two and a Half Men, "sometimes I get a little wood on the ball."

Knowing that the self knows nothing is just the beginning of wisdom. Life is a lesson we learn until we draw our last breath, and, in the long run, every answer just asks a new question. Everything is knowable, but we will never know everything.

It has been said that too much of knowledge could harm human beings. Like Einstein's E=mc2, he said if he would have known that his invention could harm people, he wish he would never been a scientist.

"The older you get, the wiser you become?"As we grow older, the amount of Long Term Memory (LTM) stored in our brain increases as well. This is vital when faced with different problems that may need us to retrieve information from our LTM to solve them. But does it mean that as we get...

What shows that a person has wisdom?

The smartest thing that I have ever done is to admit that I am not smart.\There are so many objection to this because numerous men and women in the world taught that they are smart. Are you smart enough to admit you're not truly smart.
