Haven't been on here in awhile, but I have a hub keyword question!

   Is it good to change your keywords to the
   (ones listed under your stats that people used to find your article)
   or just use the keyword tool?
   
   
   I think sometimes the questions or phrases may be more meaningful, cause if someone just typed in bipolar, there would be tons, but if they type in famous people with bipolar it leads to you more specifically
   
   just wondering. my income is getting better

      If you ever use the title tuner you will find that it is based on the keywords people have used to find your hub, and it is usually a good idea to add any missing words into your title.
      
      Is that what you mean?

            Those are tags not keywords. I guess if they are related it wouldn't hurt to add some of those as tags.

      The tags are used inside of HP, from what I understand. They are what you've typed in earlier. I'd look at the title tuner first, because you're not obligated to change your title if you don't want to. Then I'd use a keyword tool to look up some good keywords. Something else you could do is make sure the keywords you want are in subtitles, picture titles, picture descriptions, etc.

         so the tags are used in hubpages only then? Are tags the same as keywords? or are keywords what's in the actual article?
         so keep the tags simple?

               Tags are used in Hubpages only, but each tag leads to a feed and so forms a backlink, but only if you get to the first 10 in each feed. Choose tags that closely relate to your hub content and don't put too many in or you'll get penalised by HP.
               Keywords are used by the search engines. Every word on your hub is a keyword, with more importance being put on those in the title, subheadings and to a lesser extent, the url.
               To avoid keyword stuffing and to give added clarity to the search engines (so that they know what your hub is about), use synonyms too. in the body of the hub.

                  So keywords are in the actual hub itself and title.
                  
                  And tags are for HP .....as for tags do I put like basic words like if it's about bipolar, put mental illness, bipolar, manic depression?

   I would rely more on the keyword tool. If some of these words or phrases seem relevant to your article, try and fit them into your article a couple of times, and add them to your tags. If they don't make sense, it was just a quirk from the search engine, or the web surfer, and should be ignored.

   a little trick that I learned from Misha.  The drop down menu on the Google search itself will recommend some nice keywords as you enter your search.  For what its worth.
