I had about 4 favorite teachers throughout my years.  They were great in different ways.  I remember actually visiting with a couple of them after class just to talk and ask questions.

I feel like even if you don't have a favorite teacher, at least one or two stand out.

This probably doesn't apply to everyone, but I liked a couple of science teachers for the simple fact that they would let us do open ended experiments.  Also, they both possessed a bit of showmanship.

Similarly, I liked a physical education teacher that would allow us to exercise how we wanted to exercise.  I would choose 45 min of basketball over 45 min of badminton drills any day.

long time since i was at school.........  Favourite teacher, was great at her chosen subject, and even though i hated geograpby i did learn a lot because of the way she taught.

She seemed to deal with the individual, and was able to bring out the best in everyone.......

My two favourite teachers were a Math teacher( formerly a college professor-retired) and a young fresh out of College Chemistry teacher...they were so passionate about their field and used many different approaches to entice and hold the interest of their students...both in and out of school...This was my first intro to Medical Research and Medicine....
Many years later was privileged to have my former Chem teacher as a patient...

I've had two favorite teachers one was a Philosophy teacher and the other an Anthropology teacher. They were my favorite because they were the ones that introduced me to these fields and although they didn't personally teach me that much, they introduced me to many of the original thinkers which I admire.

My favorite teacher in high school was my U.S. History teacher. She taught history while also including all the contributions women have made. She inspired me to study women's studies in college (which I did, and I just graduated!).

Once I got into the class that was always full I found out why. The teacher was funny, very informative, and told you the truth about  food production and the medical industry -  Medical Sociology.

I miss college.. those were my favorite years

My favorite was a voice teacher. While other teachers told me that I wasn't "supporting the tone" enough, and when I asked them how to do it, exactly, they couldn't begin to tell me, this one teacher showed me how understanding and being able to precisely monitor the dozens of muscles in my throat could allow me to achieve any vocal effect I wanted, effortlessly. I loved her because she solved my technical problems forever and enabled me to relaunch my career, surpassing everyone else around me time and time again.
