Whilst I was taking part in the 30 Hubs in 30 Days Challenge, I had a new idea for a challenge which I would like to set myself, and I thought I would share it here in case anyone else would like to do it with me. I normally refer to the challenge as the 'Alphabet Challenge' - although better name suggestions would be welcome! Basically it involves writing 26 Hubs, not necessarily in 26 days if you don't want to, but the main theme for each Hub will correspond to a letter of the alphabet. For example A could be... appetite, and you could write about different ways to try and curb your appetite when you're dieting or something like that. The Hub title doesn't necessarily have to begin with the letter, but it should be the main theme of the Hub. I hope that makes sense! Let me know if you're interested in taking part, I'd love to see how you progress!
I was just about to post my first hub to my second 30 in 30 challenge and saw your post- I'm doing an alphabet theme! If you end up doing the same, let me know so I can check it out
Awesome! I might not start it for a couple of days or so, but I'll let you know when I do! And let me know when you publish your first Hub too
I got my first 2 up
http://whydthathappen.hubpages.com/hub/ … rom-A-to-Z
Awesome! You got two in one love the pictures!
If you wanted to, perhaps you could post a link to the challenge at the bottom? That way more people will see it and hopefully some more great Hubs will get written! It's completely up to you though, of course!
This sounds like a very interesting challenge. I take it you have to start at A and go chronological through the alphabet
I guess that up's to you! I guess you could maybe mike a title page and tick off each letter as you complete it or something, but I don't think it would be necessary to go in alphabetical order if the ideas don't come to you that way.
Fantastic, I will begin officially with this challenge on Monday 20 August 2012
Rebecca, I love the idea, and I appreciate the feedback on my first hub as a newbie. I will take that into account in my future hubs.
I would love to join this challenge!
Awesome! Let me know when you publish your first Hub related to it, I'd love to follow your progress!
Rebecca, I have added my first hub for the challenge entitiled: "Art Supply Stores: Friend or Foe?". Let me know what you think!
Awesome Hub! And thanks for deciding to take part, I'll add your name to the authors list!
Just thought you'd all like to know that I've made a Hub about this challenge. Primarily it will be a record of my progress and thoughts about the challenge, but I've also written some tips for new writers and will include a list of people taking part in the challenge, along with links to your profile page so that others can follow your progress! If you'd like to see the Hub, you can find it here
I just found this great idea! wow! I will give it a whirl. Is it okay if I start Oct 1st? I have some other projects I am trying to finish and I just added this one to my list. Interesting concept. have a blessed day.
Sure, feel free to start whenever you have the time. There's no time limit or anything so just update whenever you get ideas! Let me know when you publish your first Hub for this challenge and I'll add you to the authors list (though it might take me awhile as I'm away on the course and we need to get the internet fixed at home). I'm glad you're thinking about taking part, I look forward to reading your Hubs
I know that this post is from 3 years ago. But, I think its a good idea. Rebecca2904, would you mind if I put a new post with this title to a freeform discussion?
That's a great idea. I'm not sure about 30 in 30 as i have limited time, but the alphabet challenge is a really good idea. I think I may just do it. Thanks for the idea.
No problem! Let me know if you do, I'd love to see your progress!

Take one of your old hubs, update it with new content, better photos, improved titles and add some additional modules (make it a stellar hub effectively) and then post it here for critique!

How will the 30 hubs in 30 days challenge help me? Is it a good idea?

Well, summer is fast approaching here in sunny Florida, so I've been busy clearing as much area as possible to grow an organic garden. Florida betony, by the way, has an ubiquitous root system! Today I'm feeling a little fatigued, and if any of you have casually checked my Facebook posts, you'll...

What to do if you have too many ideas for hubs and not enough time?I hear many people ask how do you come up with hub ideas. Writer's block seems to be a big issue. I on the other hand have the opposite problem I normally have more ideas than time and find it difficult to focus on just one! Any...
