I'm almost ready to hit publish on my first Hub.  BUT...  I have this error message, and don't see where the link is, that it is referring to!  How do I find and correct this?

WARNING: You have an Amazon, eBay, Link, or Comments capsule in the first position

    Appreciate any help!!

What capsule do you have to start your Hub? Do you start out with text?

Thanks, snake!  I figured it out.  For some reason the comment capsule cannot be the first capsule that is full width!  I made my picture full width, and that cleared it up!  DJ

those capsules can't be the first capsules of your hub - you have to have at least one text or picture capsule before any sales capsules.

Thanks, GA!  I fixed it by making my picture capsule full width.  The comment capsule cannot be the first one that is full width apparently!

When you write a hub you simply write the first text capsule as normal (you don't need to select whether it is full width or not). Assuming it is long enough the Adsense/HP Ads adverts will automatically appear to the right of it. I would not use a full width image as your first capsule as this distracts the reader from scrolling further down, and prevents them from seeing all the early text 'above the fold'. Try instead to write a longish first text box, then insert an image and 'right align' it, but make sure when you 'preview' the hub there is enough text that the Adsense/HP Ad box will also appear to the right of that text capsule. Your warning message has nothing to do with the size of your image, but does sound like you added an Amazon capsule (or other items listed in the warning message) at the start of your hub (possibly even above the first text capsule).

The comment capsule should ideally be the last thing on your hub, not the first, which might explain the warning you got based on your last comment virtually confirming this was the problem. There is no point in having a comment capsule at the start of a hub anyway, as how can someone comment before they have read the hub?

Just looked at your hub on 'saving more money', and it looks like you have right aligned all your text. You need to change this back to the standard centralised view so that you get your Adsense Ads to appear on the right. You can then also right align the image you have used and move it up a level so it appears next to the text instead of stuck below it in the middle, (one other small question/tip, did you get the image legally and if so you should quote the relevant attribution as asked for by the photographer, or if it is your own photo you should quote it as yours in the relevant box below the image).
