Wasn't the thing 113 or some such thing a few days ago?

    It's now at 102.

    https://www.quantcast.com/hubpages.com?country=US

Going back to double digits would sure be nice...

We just might have a pleasant week ahead.

    What say you?

If you click "all" on date range, you'll see it shows mobile web are bringing in a lot of traffic to Hubpages. Mostly from iphone and ipad.

The online traffic stats are better than mobile, but they're nearly as low as they were in 2008.

The graph shows it's still on a steep decline, traffic wise.  It was bringing in nearly three times as much traffic in April and May.

I Think So. I have made more this month than ever and it is not even halfway over.  I have a Plan that Can Help Hubpage. Everyone should Post Every URL to every Hub they have on Google+. Just Link it with your Referral tracker. Soon Hubpages will See all the Traffic coming From G+ they will put a G+ button on the hubs. I heard that at one time they did.

My theory: (Not that I know jack about algos).

Google is pushing all the crap to the top of search so it can scoop it all up and dump it with their latest algo change.

Hey does anyone know about the long article update that they rolled out?

I really have nothing concrete to base this on, but my intuition says things will be ok this fall, winter, spring. We will certainly find out soon enough. August is flying by like a bat out of Squidoo.

These are awfully good stats for a Sunday morning (HP time)...

I'm actually beginning to wonder if something is up.

I've seen it below 3K in the past. And a Monday peak of 5.5K. A 4.6K on a Sunday morning indicates to me a very possible surge above the 5.5K on Monday. We will know soon enough...

Maybe the planet decided to end summer a week early.

I've done all right today. Did well last night. Maybe it's because in the UK it's Sunday on a bank holiday weekend.... so less people online.

Since I'd already written it, I was enticed to go ahead and post another one. But that's it for me today. Just can't get that inspired.

Going to be interesting what HP's Monday traffic is going to be. However goes Monday, is how the week goes.

Please forgive me if this is a stupid question but do the hubpages.com stats you pointed us to on Quantcast include everyone's subdomain hubs as well? I ask because if NOT and with a huge number of extra hubs being classified as Editor's Choice on hubpages.com not individual subdomains, this could result in a large increase in the number of pages on hubpages.com and the consequent increase in the number of unique visitors at any one time. - I hope I explained that right!

      1. WryLilt profile image88
WryLiltposted 10 years agoin reply to this

Not seeing that 5.5K yet, but the day is still young (HP time).

  8. paradigmsearch profile image60

And HP rank is now 100 even (improved by another 2).

    paradigmsearchposted 10 years ago

Well, darn it. Never did see that 5.5K today. Did see 4.5K. 3.5K as of this post.

Did see several posts here about increased traffic though. So, there's still hope for tomorrow.

Hey WF. I was wondering if it meant that my sub-domain is doing better then HP...LOL...just kidding. Why would a PR site 3 get better traffic on those hubs than a PR 6 site (I'm referring to my sub-domain and HP)?

          1. PageRank is only one of 200 factors used to determine search rankings.
          2. Most often, the webpage with the highest PageRank is not the first search result.
          3. You have no idea what the current PageRank of your Subdomain (nor the HP domain) is.  The visible PageRank you see on a PageRank meter is the average PageRank from the first week in November, 2012, through the first week in February, 2013. Visible PageRank has not been updated since then.  The true PageRank is not disclosed but is recalculated every time Googlebot crawls a webpage.

Holy Crap! You are both right. Yesterday, 103. Right now, 169.

Now I know why my hub traffic is suddenly doing a crash and burn.

Looks like it's regroup time again. That. Or just plain saying to hell with it.
