I published few hubs and few will be published soon, but i am not getting traffic getting around 30 visits each day.
Please suggest me some ways to promote my hubs, i am a newbie in this promotion stuff.
Thanks in advance.
Use the search box at the top of the page and you will find hundreds of hubs and forum posts regarding this subject.
However just remember that over-promoting your hubs by spaming every possible outlet is going to have the opposite effect to what you want to achieve.
I also suggest that you start to research "Keywords" and how to find out how many people are searching for a given phrase using the google keyword tool. If no one is searching for your keywords then you will not get visitors.
Also you need to learn about competition, if there are lots of pages on your subject or if the competition are big respected sites then you have no hope in gaining traffic against them.
Good luck and welcome to the realities of online writing.. You have to do a lot of work or get VERY lucky to hit the jackpot with traffic and earnings.
The best promotion for your Hubs is on the Google search engine. It will generate the highest number of regular visits from targeted traffic, i.e., people who are genuinely searching for your topic on the Internet.
To promote your Hubs to Google, Google recommends that you use SEO – search engine optimization. There is no other way to get Google interested in promoting your Hubs on search results.
I wrote an SEO Tutorial Hub for beginners and a Hub on Website Content Writing. I think it will benefit you to study more about these topics before you write another Hub.
Your Hub on climate change, for example, has little chance of success on Google because that topic is competing with major government and news sites around the world. Google has 865,000,000 webpages stored in its index about that topic. And, it has 247,000,000 pages stored for 'changing climate.' If you really want to write a Hub on that topic, you will need to find a more specific keyword phrase to target and adjust your content accordingly.
Also, use of the English language must be perfect. For example, your Hub titled 'Early Christmas and Carolin' contains a word that doesn't exist. Language mistakes – spelling, punctuation, grammar, word choice – will ruin your chances of success on Google.
Your hubs are on very broad topics - heaps of authority sites out there will rank higher than you.

I am also very new to marketing my hubs, which is probably why I have yet to make hardly any money off of them. I am anxious to look at your SEO hub. Many SEO hubs I'm studying right now are a bit over my head since I do not know a lot about technology. I think I have the keyword thing down, though I have yet to edit all my hubs to show it, but many of the SEO concepts, I'm still lost on. ~Michele
I am far from an expert, but I hate to see those just starting out worry so much about SEO and keywords. It is OK to pick up tips about those things, but it is more important to read the learning center and FAQ tips-- then get in here and write. Post your hubs. You will learn more by doing than by asking. Write! ... and learn something by doing it.
Agreed. SEO is a bit of a scam. Essentially, you need to keep your content tight, don't repeat words but use relevant related words, and that's it. As soon as you try and scam Google, you're on the way down.
If you have Social Media profiles, you can share the URL of your Hub there and get good traffic. As far as SEO is concerned, it is really a tough job to do as Google is updating its Algorithms very rapidly.
SEO is not that difficult to learn for simply using on HubPages; you only have to invest a little time. Unlike social media which brings traffic in spurts, SEO will give you long-term traffic. People who discount SEO either don't understand what it is or are personally unsuccessful with its implementation. If you're not making a couple of dollars per Hub per month, something is wrong with what you are doing.
It's also recommended that you use the OFFERS that Google sends you for advertising don't stress yourself out with traffic it takes time and is NOT an overnight sensation, much as we'd like that
It took me a year to get my first pay out from hubpages but during my best seasons I will get a check every month. I do not promote my hubs, I let the search engines find me. I have never paid any service to get my hubs noticed and I write new hubs as I find the time available. I am a casual hubber.
My tips:
- Write what you know. It sounds cliche` but it's true. Your words will flow more easily if you are writing about things you understand.
- Include videos, charts and pictures in every hub possible. Making your articles more interesting and interactive will increase your traffic.
- Have patience. Good things come to those that wait! Hubpages is a great source of extra income, just waiting a little while, rather than throwing your hubs all over the internet and spending money to draw a crowd. Keep writing quality hubs and the rest will follow.
Write super article with super images then share in some social media sites like twitter, stumbleupon, delicious, facebook, etc. then you will not need any promotion work.

I have had the lowest earnings from since the time I first made anything on HubPages as of late. I took a look through the forum and couldn't find reference to others having the same problem. What I'd usually make in one day, all of a sudden it is taking me a week to make. Is anyone else getting...

I've been on here for a few years, and I guess I never really understood the point of these scores. They don't seem to provide any real value to the user and I can't convince myself that they add value because they fluctuate so much. What's the point? Am I supposed to use these scores to tell me...

One thing that I've noticed in my traffic stats is that one particular hub about a particular acoustic guitar - seems to be doing better than other hubs about what I would think would be guitars that are more sought after. So I looked at the hub that is doing so well, and tried to figure out why...

Back-links are the main aspect of off-page SEO. There are several ways to get back-links. Social media, like posting your hubs to Facebook and Twitter, forum posting, and blog commenting are the most common. Just stay away from paid back-links, Google is cracking down on that finally. Then there is...

But I am wondering why there seems to be competition in the real google world and no competition showing for it in the external keyword tool world?
