Are we allowed to promote our hubs on bookmarking sites?

   I've heard that social bookmarking sites like digg, reddit and stumbleupon are a great way to generate a ton of traffic fast. I haven't tried them though... Is it against HubPages rules to do so?

      I believe it is fine as long as you don't overdo it so much that it gets spammy.

      HubPages won't penalize you in any way for posting your Hubs on other sites, but the sites you post on may do so. We recommend reading the rules carefully on the sites where you want to promote your Hubs and, if sharing is permitted, to exercise moderation.

   If you are clearly using it for promotion they will cut you off very quickly.

         The bookmarking site.  Stumble will block you unless your promotion stays under about 10% of your total page recommendations.  And Reddit users will dogpile people who seem spammy to them.

                        I would recommend that you use the forums to practice using conventional English.  It is a requirement for Hubs.

               I mean that you should stumble 9 sites you do not own or write for, for every 1 that you do.  Otherwise they will block your ability to stumble Hubpages.

                     It doesn't matter, as far as I know.
                     
                     There is a point at which you should try and find your own answers directly from the source.
