I'm not surprised.  From what I've read, that happens randomly.  I tell everyone that asks me about it that if you can afford to write for free or don't mind being on a website for 10 hours a day to make $25, knock yourself out.  I really do feel for the people who have worked so hard on there and had payout problems.

    Ummm...because Bubblews sucks?

Sorry, that was harsh. But it's all I got.

It's quite normal for Bubblews not to pay its contributors. And not breaking the rules is no guarantee of payment on Bubblews. Take a look at this thread: http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/120090

Many of us get paid consistently! 16th redemption now. Maybe there is a slight problem somewhere?

And many don't get paid consistently. And some don't get paid at all. That's more than a 'slight' problem!

Of course it's more than a 'slight problem' . . .  read between the lines?
There is always a reason for not getting paid!

I've said exactly this in the thread I've linked to above, but I'll say it again:

          Read this hub: http://thomasswan.hubpages.com/hub/Bubb … t-12508313 and this hub: http://buildreps.hubpages.com/hub/Bubbl … lly-a-scam

          My own experience of Bubblews:

Having joined Bubblews at the end of July, 2013, I reached the redemption threshold for the first time on September 9, 2013. After this redemption didn’t come through, nor the following one on September 13, 2013, I sent a message of enquiry using the Bubblews ‘Contact Us’ form. Having received no reply, I realized I needed to email BubblewsSupport2, which I did twice, but received no reply. I then resorted to pinning messages to BubblewsSupport2’s profile wall. The only response was removal of my messages. By this time I'd claimed a third redemption, which also didn't come through. I sent another email to bubblews.assistant@gmail.com on November 24, 2013, but received no reply. Under the advice of the HubPages' contributors Buildreps and Thomas Swan, I contacted Support@bubblews.com and (miracle of miracles) received the following response: "We do apologize for this. We will look into what happened with those redemption and be sure to clear them if it was a mistake on our end. We really do appreciate the patience." After a few days had elapsed, I sent a follow-up email, but received no reply. On 01.24.2014 I sent another email, but received no reply. On 01.27.2014 I sent emails to both Support@bubblews.com and bubblews.assistant@gmail.com. On 01.28.2014, I received this reply from the latter (it seemed the former address no longer worked):

"NOTE: You don't have to email us again. We are doing our very best to review all your accounts.
Please refrain from spamming this email address as it will not get your ticket answered faster.
Thank you for contacting the Bubblews.com Member Support Redemption Department. Your support ticket has been received and your name has been added to the list for our redemption staff to review.
Please give us enough time to review your accounts.
If your account is cleared, you will see payment come through without any response from our staff."

This is what I'd call an insult to my intelligence. Apart from that, I had, under no circumstances, 'spammed' anybody at Bubblews. All I wanted was payment--redemptions dating back to 09.09.2013. Almost five months!!! How much more time was needed to review my account?

I decided that being polite wasn't working, and began sending some very rude and threatening emails.

All three redemptions have now been paid, but had I not fought, I'd still be waiting.

Of course, there's always a reason for not being paid, but is it a valid reason?

Why are you asking on the HP forum?  Why not ask Bubblews?

From your post and your Hello Kitty graphic I would have thought it was fairly obvious.

I just got redemption number 20. So sad to read about some not getting any of theirs!

HP needs to do something to reign in all these Bubblews posts on the forum!

Do you mean HP should muzzle people who complain about Bubblews, just like Bubblews does?

HP allows people to speak freely. I can't say the same for Bubblews.

No, Not what I meant at all. Wow.

My comment was a reply to a previous poster (whom it appears was deleted). Had nothing to do with what you are implying.

I have to say I'm not surprised. In fact, I talk about this very issue in this hub: http://kalinin1158.hubpages.com/hub/Is- … -Big-Thing

Bubblews doesn't always pay its members, plus there is a policy of censorship. You're better off writing for HP.

As long as they continue to pay me, I will continue to write there as well as here. The are not very good at communicating over there, even though they have stated it is their goal to improve in that area. But speech is not completely free here at HP either, or anywhere else for that matter.

I agree, completely free speech is non-existent. But relatively speaking, there is a lot more freedom on HP than on Bubblews. In my personal experience.

I've put in claims for about $2000, still $300 unpaid from late last summer.  Been paid every claim for the last 6 months.

Not actually been there this month as I've had other stuff to do (real life stuff, not been online anywhere this month)

It's hit and miss... you can follow the rules and still not be paid (whatever some people say).

That's what I find sort of unconscionable on Bubblews - that the payment process is so frivolous. You shouldn't be hoping and praying every time you hit that "Redeem" button. It's just unacceptable.

Getting paid on Bubblews is a VERY tricky business, no doubt, and many who do not think they are breaking rules, in fact are doing exactly that.  They do not always make rule changes user friendly, and one wrong move can eliminate a payment.  I have been there since the end of July, 2013 and have made more than $800 but now I am making less because I still prefer to write on HP more, so I have cut back my writing to perhaps one article per day or so.  I'll still make as much there in a year as I make here even with that...and the day they stop paying is the day I'll stop writing.  One thing I do like about that site is the many great people I've met there.  That, alone, is worth some of my time.
