I Have been on hubpages since 2013. I have had people read and comments on my hubs. So why haven't I had any money deposited into my paypal account? I check and I have got to be over $50 or close to $100 by now. So where is the money? I am singed up for Google AdSense, no e-bay and amazon capsules haven't gotten me anything. I actually stopped putting them in anything I write. But what about all those that few my hubs? So many questions, but I never get the answers I am looking for. Any advice?
Lisa, do you actually see that amount when you go to your earnings on account page where you have to put in your password?
Yes, It will say 49 cents, etc. Two years later shouldn't all those cents add up? I just don't get it.
Payments are issued via PayPal on or near the 28th of the following month once the minimum payment threshold of $50 is met.

As others have mentioned, the balance history report shows your current balance.
You can see your unpaid balance here.

If it says 49 cents, that's all there is. No payout yet. I cannot answer why.
I stopped checking my AdSense totals regularly ages ago. Glaciers move faster than they do.
I have done much better with the HP Ads Program, which I joined at the end of 2013. I don't exactly rake in mad benjaminz thru that either, but I do reach a payout two or three times a year, which is better than nuthin'.
I'll be just as surprised as anybody when I reach that mythical AdSense threshold. Four years in and still quite a ways to go!
You have less than 10,000 views. Most hubbers find they earn somewhere around $2-4/1,000 views so I can see why you wouldn't have reached payout yet.
I'd highly recommend signing up for the Hubpages Ad Program if you haven't already - their payout is half that of what Adsense is.
Your content is also primarily creative writing which statistically doesn't do very well online (unless you're already known). People don't Google for those type of things as much as they do for guides, answers, reviews and how-tos.

I agree with WryLilt (Read her post two or three times.)
Personally, I earn 2 - 4 times as much from Amazon than Adsense through HP ads, just because I have a couple of hubs that offer products in a subject area that people are searching for.
The payout for AdSense is $100. The payout for HubPages ad program is $50. Both pay about a month AFTER the end of the month in which you reach the payout threshold, so keep in mind that the money is not deposited right away.
Which ad system are you using? If you're using AdSense, they will deposit the money directly into your bank account, so make sure you have direct deposit set up properly through AdSense/Google.
HubPages pays into your PayPal account.
Check your running balance and see how close you are to the payout minimum for the ad program you're using. Once you hit the minimum amount, you then need to wait for the current month to end, and then wait about a month after that for payment to go through.
I see that you write mostly poetry, which is typically a low-earning category. Take WryLilt's advice and learn how to optimize your work to bring in as much search engine traffic as possible.
Lisa, first of all, go to your Earnings page and make sure all your Program Settings and External Affiliate Settings say "Active", just to make sure.
Second, you do understand that your Adsense earnings are not paid into Paypal, they are separate? You need to check your Adsense account to see how much you've earned there - though if you have the HP Earnings Program active, you'll have very little in your Adsense account because the HP Ads take over.
Assuming that's all OK, then your problem is, basically, that you're not getting enough visitors. As WryLilt says, you can expect to earn between $2 and $4 per 1,000 views.
If you want to make money, you can't rely on the HubPages community viewing your Hubs - to get more views, you need your Hubs to be listed by the search engines (Google, Bing and Yahoo). Sadly, it's hard to get the search engines to notice creative writing or poetry. Cardisa's Hub has some great advice which may help you.
As a creative writer, sometimes you have to decide what your goal is. If you want to make money, then you have to become more commercial. That's not a new idea - since time immemorial writers and musicians have written to please the masses to survive, while working on their own pieces in their spare time. If, however, your goal is simply to be read, then you are likely to get more readership for your poems on a poetry site, and for your short stories on a short story site - but of course, you won't make any money from them.

On browsing the forum, I have become aware that we can't earn on HubPages without AdSense. This is a grim realization for me.I have 29 featured hubs that are generally considered to be of reasonable quality. I applied for an AdSense account over a year ago, and since then I've had nothing. When I...
