Anyone else having a bad earnings weekend? Any other suggestions apart from its the weekend?
Yep.
A. I’m getting clicks with zero earnings credited to them.
B. The new AdSense interface claims I will not get a payout; even though that same interface shows I exceeded the payout threshold prior to the end of March.
Hopefully, AdSense will have gotten itself straightened out by the end of the week.
My payout kept going down. Started with the threshold amount and went down steadily for a few days. Now its holding steady at the same amount even though my daily tallies are incremental.
I don't know what's going on, but I'm sure it will be fixed.
Mine is low today and I'm not even in the HP ad program..
I reached payout with £6 over the threshold so they better pay me
If this carries on this week I'm going to activate the Hubpages AD program! its been decided.
Mine sometimes dips on the weekend ..but not this bad.. thats why I asked if there could be any other reason.
Yep, lots of 0% impressions and the lowest paid clicks I can remember!
Nothing from Adsense in the past few days. I don't generally earn a lot...but more than nothing! Interesting, the Hubpages ad program which I just started about a week ago is doing well...
Yep, my HP adsense channels are dead. I've made 5 cents through HP today. This is the worst it's been in 2 years.
G is assigning low value and low quality ads to our hubs now...
Do you think I should switch to the HP revenue sharing program? Are you getting a better return on those?
Hi richieb, if you add the two (HP Program and adsense), my earnings this March is better by 25 percent comparing to Jan and Feb this year.
Still the value of adsense clicks and number of clicks went down last March and this could be due to number of factors. I am not sure but my guess is that the values of clicks and CTR must have been low perhaps bec of the sources/location of clicks. CTR is also affected by the new layout if you subscribe to the HP ads.
I think you can test it on your own if it is better for you.
Well, since I am using hubpages ad program, my adsense earnings are disappearing. Plus the Google alg affected it too obviously.
Hopefully, these HP earnings stay consistent though.
My clicks are very low on adsense. I have been consistently making cents with adsense for the last 10 days or so.
My traffic and AdSense earnings are not recovering. I had an unusually good month in Dec, and since Jan/Feb are historically low for many, I've been comparing to Oct/Nov stats. My traffic has been around 50% of my previous average. My AdSense is far lower.
My page impressions for March were about what they were in Jul 2010. My AdSense plus HubPages Ad program match July as well. That will be great news if the traffic recovers.
Yeah my earnings have been low this weekend, in adsense and hubpages earnings, will probably pick up though!
I have a dilemma whether to join the HP ad program, I always meet the threshold each month with Adsense, but before Xmas I was making double what I have now. If I join the HP ad program tonight will my Adsense always remain lower?
Sorry to go against the crowd but I've had my best adsense day since getting the HP ads. Almost as good as it was when I was just using adesnse. Best day of earnings so far with Hub ads and adsense combined. So at least it's not all doom and gloom.
Among other things, those HP ads replace the lowest paying adsense ads. I think the technical term for that is "YeeHaw!".
Andy, do you know which Tax form to select for the Hub ads in the UK? I haven't got a clue but imagine yours is the same as mine
Pretty Dark Horse said that Google are serving us low paying Ads so Ive just managed to activate my Hub Ads account, I have other websites that will continue to earn through Adsense anyhow...
How often will Hub Ad impressions update Izzy?
Well you are UK time, they usually update for me sometime between 2pm and midnight, and I am an hour ahead of you.
What I don't like is that I can no longer tell which hubs are doing well and which aren't.
Yeah the tax thing is easy, just say you do no work in The US and it's pretty straight forward. Same here, I find they update mid afternoon UK time. It does annoy me that I have no way of knowing which Hubs are pulling in the clicks though.
My Adsense ads have been consistently bad since the algo change. Hubads are pretty good by comparison.
I even tried turning off Hubads for a day or two but it made no difference.
I turned my HP ads back on after a day of trying without. The thought of losing that 20 cents daily was annoying me. Haven't had a click in days.
The shame is that as a relative newbie, right up until the Google change, things were gradually improving. I had high hopes for the future.
My Adsense earnings from Hubpages is really pathetic since the Google change but it was even more pathetic the past 1 week with my 500 Hubs earning less than $3. Amazon earnings are also at the worst and I am earning only 25% of what I was earning earlier.
Anamika have you joined HP revenue sharing yet, I just took the plunge..I was getting a 1/2 of what I was earning before..I expect improvement the harder I work not lower earnings lol
I haven't been invited to HP ad program yet. I had a pretty good Adsense weekend though. One of my hubs had a single click (out of six impressions that day) which earned a whopping $2.48, plus a couple of clicks of lesser amounts on other hubs the previous 2 days. A bit of a record for me.
I am not well versed in the whole science of this business, but my Adsense was dying before I joined the Hub ads program. I'd say its almost made up for the difference. So I don't think the Hub ads had an adverse effect on my Adsense.(read that fast three times, LOL) It was going downhill already.
I've made nothing off of Adsense in the last couple days.. Something is going on. No way.
Weekends always stink. My Adsense has gone down since the Panda update, but not as badly as I thought at first. I have way less Google traffic, and earnings are down somewhat. Though I have been getting a bit of income from the new program. Hoping things pick up.
my traffic is nill and i've started checking google for copied hubs when I have 0 views...found a few and reported them..
Have to go against the crowd here too, my Adsense was up this weekend, and I have already had a nice hit on it today from Hubpages.
Seems to be recovering from Panda for me.
I joined Hub Ads last night and had the first results this afternoon and I made some earnings over night..might leave it on for now but since turning it on Adsense traffic is very low again

Okay-- here's my question. Stopped Hubpages ad program for experimentation. Within 2 hours, Adsense was finally paying decent! Was able to actually receive payment in one month because I hit the threshold of Adsense of $100.00. Super psyched finally! Last 3 days, nothing! Absolutely...

I was up to 95.16 on my adsense and then all of a sudden it stopped, but I don't remember making any changes - Since it is so close to the threshold, can someone please check my account to see why it is not registering hits any more? How can I fix this? I really appreciate your help.

I really do miss the old success stories.. they were the ones that gave us all hope. Even after 6 years of being here at hubpages it is all a mystery to me. I am still loyal to only Adsense and didn't opt for hubpages ad program. My question is...is there anyone here earning over 500 dollars per...

Why Don't I make more than pennies with Google Adsense?I've noticed recently that I am scraping in bare minimum earnings with my Hubs, and I was wondering what some other users here on HubPages were doing to compensate for low earnings...

I think it is related to images being used for the HUB ads and Google ads. When I turned off the Hub ads my adsense revenue rose significantly. I think it is because the block of adsense ads to the right of the column of text below the title returned to text based rather than image based. I think...

I was wondering if Hubpages offer a revenue sharing HTML code that can be implemented into the hubpages members own websites. The Hubpages Ad programme seems to work better than google adsense in respect of how much can be earned per 1000 page views, I would much rather have hubpages adverts being...
