1. i can't seem to link my accounts adsense and hubpages, though i have already allowed hubpage access on my account.
2. when you view the 'VIEW SOURCE'. that is when you right click on any of you hubs then click view source, my affilite numbers for adsense doesnt appear on the adclients and instead what i can see is a different number which i suspect is a hub affiliate number.
looks like this:yieldbuild_client = 1;
yieldbuild_loc = "header_x2x456";
yieldbuild_layout = "hub_x2x456";
yieldbuild_options = {
google_adclient: "pub-6958755572607374",
google_channels: "0220479022",
pubcenter_channels: "7497"
whereas my affiliate number should look like this:
ca-pub-6518648801784813
i am really a bit concern about this, cause if the source scripts doesn't show my affiliate numbers, then i am not really getting the credits due to me.
guys, go and check yours.
can anyone explain? i might be wrong. cheers
Have you pasted your affiliate ID into the "Affiliates" section in your "My Account"?
I would delete the actual Adsense ID from your post, BTW.
i have definitely done that, pasted my affiliate no. the first time it was granted to me by adsense, id say a day after i joined the hub.
i was not bothered for the first few days, but then it has been more than two weeks, and yet my affiliations with adsense is still not comin up on the scripts.
cheers.
marissa what about 'linking my account to hubpage' can't get seem to make a breakthrough?
cheers
By pasting your affiliate ID into the Affiliates section, which you've done, you have already linked your account to HubPages.
Are any clicks showing when you run a report on your Adsense account?
Should probably set up a channel to check, maybe???
marissa, you know the section of the 'affiliates'
the first one there is the adsense, on its far left, i got a button that say modify, when you click it, a new window will open up.
that window says link your adsense to hubpage, ticked yes on the question, filled in my last 5 digits phone number then clicked submit.
what happens next is what? should i get a message or an email confirming that it has been linked, or should i just assume that it has been linked, without the confirmation?
sorry if im being stubborn, just want to clarify things, thanks so much for your time.
What does it show on the right hand side? Before you pasted your number in, it would have said "not set". If it now says "Active", that's all the confirmation you need that it's working. If you're doubtful, try deleting your number and see what happens!
The other thing to do is log into Adsense, and add HubPages.com, and each of your Hubs individually, as Channels. (go into Adsense Setup, click Channels, URL Channels, Add New Channels).
Then you'll be able to run reports showing how many clicks you've received on each Hub, and how much they've earned. Bear in mind that your earnings for the individual Hubs are duplicated in the HubPages.com total.
a) Marisa is right
b) you are aware that 40% of time the hP adsense will show
c) read the faqs and help before panicing
60% of the time it'll be your Adsense ID. The other 40% will be HubPages unless you've been a referred sign up, and also if someone else is referring traffic.

I'm sure somewhere someone has already asked this, but....What happens if you don't have an Adsense account? Can you still earn from Hubpages through their ad program?I'm only asking, because the other day I was thinking, what if I lost my Adsense account... Not that I think I will, I stay within...

So, the HubPages Ad Program is based on having Google AdSense? Well, I'm one of the thousands who lost their AdSense account without much explanation, so now I can no longer make any money on HubPages? I can no longer benefit from Amazon because I live in California and they cancelled our affiliate...

Even though I tried to associate my Google adsense account with hubpages earnings program, the Ad program, eBay program and Amazon program are still inactive. However, my external affiliate settings are active. Why is it so?

My Google Adsense Account has disappeared. How do I get it back?

So, in today's mail, I got this very interesting communication:As I recall, you have to have signed up for an AdSense account, in order to participate in the HP ad program, correct?So, that means I do have one, but I sure as H-E-double-toothpicks can't access it AT ALL!I don't know where/how to...

People have been asking this, so I looked at my account. In the week that my application was approved, I have been earning a few cents. I looked under earnings, and it shows that money earned from HubPages is 54 cents. So, I thought, am I getting anything from AdSense? Yes, I am. I went to the...
