                         Hopefully we will never get to the point where 80% refuse to take part in their own governing structure, simply letting the elite control it all.  Although I'm not sure the how this "destruction" comes about - it has allowed 300,000,000 people to live together in luxury unknown just 100 years ago.

                            India has 300 million living the same standard if living as Americans. Their economy is growing 4 times faster than US and dumping US dollar for trade with China and Russia. While all backed with by gold and credited countries, not debtor countries like Canada and worst US.
                            
                            A real lively bank account would be a luxury in the US, but it is not for the majority. If you luxury of healthy food rather than 1/5 on food stamps causing obesity to be the highest. If your luxury is having an Xbox , TV or air conditioning/heater. Then have the majority struggling to pay for it every month is the American dream, you can have it. Your Corporatism masters will come for the rest from the 100 million billion baby boomers they can't pay for or even the food stamps they plan to cancel on.
                            World war and civil war is more important than your basic cost of living. They will get it all.

                               You know, it's replies like this that make it really hard to accept much of what you say.  That 1 in 4 Indians live with American standards of living.  Here, some stats for you:
                               
                               37% of homes are one room
                               11% have a toilet with a sewer connection
                               49% use firewood for cooking
                               31% use Kerosene for lighting
                               3% have a computer with internet
                               5% have an automobile

                                     That is true also 900 million are as poor as church mice. One time India was the worst country in world of exteme rich/poor. Now it's progressing economic growth is faster than any country in the world and US is decreasing faster except for some odd countries like Venezuela that US screws with over oil. They will end up with BRICS soon enough.

                   I have had many bussiness offer me to live in the US since my last Bush scam. I say why live there, when I am happier in Canada. They tell me happiness is not everything.
                   
                   Mexico ranks consistently higher than the US of the happiest country list. If happiness mean kooky, I will buy the whole lot. Then sell it as our gross national product.
