I've recently tried creating articles for Blasting News, and I'm already skeptical about them.
Does anyone have any experience with Blasting News and what are your thoughts?
"Blasting News", you just never know and I hope he succeeds.
[Edit] Doesn't sound promising from your post.
[Edit] Abandon (opinion).
Extremely curious as to what you mean by that.
If I won't be hauled into the guys in black, I would like to get on that site to make some folding money.
Entangled entropy is only allowed at <snipped>.
Thanx, para, but can I make some loot on this site?
Kenneth, see my post above for an answer to your question.
Not one cent. What site you talking about?
The site we’ve been discusssing in this thread all along, Blasting News!
Where are you? I just gave my lengthy opinion in my prior post! I even gave you a link to it when I answered you.
Give me your conclusion now, please. Is it worth dealing with writing sites?
Are you kidding? I gave it to you already. Just scroll up to my post, or click the direct link I gave you.
Well then, say it again. Are writing sites worth dealing with? Yes or no?
You're being deliberately obtuse, paradigm. In his post, Glenn said, "Blasting News is another content mill." You should know what a content mill is. That means no, it's not worth it.
Glenn . . .thanx, and one more thing, sir, (Columbo take-off),
would that be a www.blastingnews.com link?
You better be right posting that link.
Opinion on hold.
Made fortune bns, if this is another one of those...
Yes, that’s the site Ken. But did you read my opinion post above in this thread?
@ Glenn, not going to jump into that right now--it's late and I want to sleep for a few minutes. Have a peaceful night. Drink coffee. It works for staying up and writing.
I'll save you the trouble, Ken. The site is a waste of time.
Blasting News is another content mill. And we already know that business strategy always fails. Google wants niche sites.
What’s worse is that news is not evergreen. You have to keep working hard, very hard, to blast out new news all the time.
You only get paid for the first 30 days for each article, and only if you got 150 views or more in that month. Then your articles remain for free and the owners continue to get rich (whatever rich is).
Blasting News started in 2013 and they already have a history of giving excuses for not paying on time.
Need to know more? Here's a good review:
https://www.alexandria-ingham.com/blast … sign-site/
Sounds like one of those sites where the work to pay ratio is nowhere near worth it
That's a good review and yeah I thought I'd give it a try but I'll definitely skip it. I'd rather have my own website than write for people and get little in return .
The layout is also very amateurish with often obselete news articles. Thanks Glenn.
There's a very simple rule to follow when deciding whether a writing site is worth joining. If it allows anyone to join and post articles on any topic, it's 90% certain that it's a waste of time. Google hates generalist sites - that's why HubPages has launched the niche sites.
The exception is news sites, and that's probably why Blasting News has chosen to launch as a news site. The trouble is, sites don't get to choose whether Google classifies them as news sites - Google decides. For instance, Google classified DailyTwoCents as a news site for a while, and it did well for that period.
So if they're branded as a news site, do they get more leverage than other writing sites or does it not matter if Google still says Blasting News is a content mill?
No, being branded a news site doesn't necessarily help.
Not paying on time??? W ell, that sounds like the online gambling industry for affiliates.
Sorry. I've scrapped all writing sites.
When HubPages goes, I'm done.
My own website is it.

All I see on my news feed is articles written about the earthquake and I personally find that kind of annoying. I don't mean to call anyone out but it seems like what most people do is just read an actual news article about the event (in this case the earthquake) and then write it in their own...

I have been pleased with the audience and revenue for my articles on HubPages since joining the site some years ago.I commend the company for creating the successful niche sites at a time when similar sites were folding. My existing articles that moved to those sites have done even better than...

A lot of people are stealing photos and pictures from other sites and putting them on Hubpages. While a lot of the pictures are copyright violations, others are ones stolen from public computers or sites without the permission of people involved. In India there is a double...

Don't you think there is enough people on Diets that we can stop blasting...the media with Diet food and drinks? They are all over the Internet, on the TV, In Newspapers and even mostly on the grocery stores shelves. It is like a crazy out of control Fad!
