My computer has gone heywire.  I cannot load jpeg pics
now when I try to start a new hub.

I type in the name.    normally it loads its own web address.
Then I type in the tags and it has suggestions on the right ( no suggestions now)

I even typed in the web address and added all my own tags.
Then when I click continue.  Nothing happens.

And I have new nortons and just checked no virus.

What is happening........HELP  Getting closer to a format job again I think.

Same thing's happening to me this morning. I was going to add more Hubs but it's not working. Guess I'll just have to check back later.

While I cannot upload the photos on this morning, maybe some technical glitch here?

I'm sure our beloved staffs will work it out smile

I didn't have issues uploading pictures. I just published a new hub with 2 pictures and had no problems.

    Hi,

I tried starting a new hub last night and had the same problem, I figured it was just my computer.  I am sorry that your having a problem, but it leads mr to believe that it is not our computers.  I hope the problem gets fixed soon!

The one major problem I have when starting a new hub is formatting.
I cannot seem to master it.
The content does not turn out the way I want it to, I have tried formatting the fonts, size of fonts in Word first nothing seems to work.

Is there some secret to formatting?

    Thanks!

I am having the same issue. If you are copying from word I found out it won't word wrap. You have to copy in notepad.I am still trying to figure out how to get the pics aligned on certain sides or make them smaller/larger. I wish there was a step by step instruction with screen shots.

I did type in tutorial into the search function and got a couple of good tips that way.

I would advise you to use an external editor to come up with your text but not your formatting.  After you paste the text into the text capsule, use the controls in the text capsule itself to do the formatting of the raw text.  HubPages intentionally only supports a very narrow range of formatting options (so that hubs all have a consistent look and feel).

When copying from a Word Doc. you need to change the font format to paragraph instead of preformated. That's why you keep getting long rows of text- if that's what you're getting. It's usually what I get.

Just highlight the text and change the formatting option. You may have to click paragraph twice to get the top line to configure properly.

It might be a FireFox glitch. I just logged into my account in IE and everything seems to be working fine.
