So you won't fall into the same trap as we did and by that I mean reading the instructions. We have been hubbing for about 3 months and it wasn't until very recently that we realized that we needed to sign up to Ebay and Amazon in order to get paid. NO WONDER WE WEREN'T MAKING VERY MUCH! 0.00 Ha Ha better late than never.
Good advice here from Karen and Lesley. But I believe there are not many of us who have not signed up to Ebay and, or Amazon in order to get paid. Thank you.
Actually, I've been signed up with Amazon from the beginning and I've only made $2 - so you may not have missed out on that much. As for eBay, the old eBay system had a rule which required you to reach a certain target in the first six months, otherwise they booted you out - so I decided not to join up until I got some decent traffic. I've just joined the new eBay.
Your main earnings are from Adsense. I hope you also realised you have to sign up for Adsense!
Yeah Im with Marisa on this one ! $5 from Amazon last month $25 from Adsense $0 from EBay
I have not earned a cent from either ebay nor amazon. Can anyone answer my question about displaying my own articles for sale on ebay on hubs of similar topics on our ebay capsules.....thanks.
I am making money from Google, but not Amazon or eBay. What do I need to do to chance that?

Me too, is all I can say!
The stock advice is - make sure the items displayed in the capsules are as relevant as possible to your subject. For Amazon, you can choose the items yourself - on eBay, you have to rely on keywords.
I can't say it's working for me, but I keep putting the capsules in, anyway - I like the extra colour and variety they add, and I'm told the constant updating of the eBay capsule is a contribution to the freshness of the Hub in Google's eyes.

Write hubs about stuff that people are actually looking for on Ebay. You'll do much better with both Amazon and Ebay if you write some hubs about physical products that people are searching for on Ebay or in the search engines. Amazon and Ebay are far less profitable when treated merely as a sidenote in a hub.
You can use Ebay Pulse to look for some ideas:

Just start looking at categories for things that you like and see what kind of stuff is popular.
I've made 22 dollars from Amazon last month I guess that's a good value. E-bay didn't accept me for their program without giving any reason. Their loss ![]()
I have finally started earning a bit on Amazon now that one of my older hubs which has some very relevant Amazon products on it is getting more traffic, but it was a long wait!
I don't like the clutter of Amazon and E bay myself. And if you live in Canada you cannot even transfer the money from Amazon to your bank account! You have to buy Amazon junk to use your profit. It's simply a pain not worth the trouble. I wish Hub pages would try something else, or at least give more options, like Adbrite? or whatever. (I'm not up on affiliate marketing). ![]()
Thank you for the answers!! I really appreciate it! Hopefully I can get my hits for Amazon and eBay up!

Sensible answer. I knew that but have never acted on it. I've decided my next Hub will be targetted at an eBay product to see if it works.
In Australia, I can't get cash from Amazon either.

So that is why I recieved an email from Ebay, saying that they have reviewed and found me wanting.
