Since Pelosi is having trouble rounding up 216 votes, she's now thinking about "deeming" the bill passed, without House members having to actually vote on it. They could just go ahead and vote for reconciliation without having to vote on the Senate version of the HC bill.

Was this on FOX news? Nope! Huffington Post!

I am watching the House Budget Committee on C-Span1 discuss the Health Bill and the votes are Rep. vs Dem. No change. No one willing to budge. Minds are made up and no one is listening. Facts ignored. Same old Washington Politics as usual.
      Sad!!!

Have you heard of the "Slaughter Proposal"?

Some congresswoman (named Slaughter, very appropriate name!) has introduced a proposal in congress. Under her proposal, Democrats would pass a rule that deems the Senate's health-care bill to have passed the House, without the House actually voting on the bill.

Is there nothing the democrats won't do?

I'm neither Democrat or Republican.  I can see valid points from both parties at times.  I lean towards any Politician that supports and upholds the constitution and abolishing the Federal Reserve so Secret Backdoor payouts of Tax Payer Money can not be made.

People do not realize the Federal Reserve is making ZERO interest loans to Wall Street who in turn is reinvesting the Free money in US Backed Securities. This is in fact Arbitrage on the American Economy all paid in full by the good faith of the American Tax Payer.

This kind of behavior is one of the main reasons I take such issue with the Current Health Care Bill.  Because it's not about Health Care... it's about power and control.

Democrats are seeing through the scam and they fear the wrath of the people that elected them. This is why they are not supporting their own party on this terrible legislation.

This bill is serious... what kind of Government passes bills into law that have not been read?  It's not a Democracy that's for sure.

Pelosi, Reid, and Obama are doing serious damage to the Credibility of their party.

Why do we as Americans keep getting such poor representation?

Pelosi is on a Delusional Ego Trip.

...and yet Obama justifies this steamrollery by saying that he is shoving politics aside to do "what the people want".

Jon, thanks for the heads up.  Now that we have DirecTV (no longer dependent on the antenna), we should be able to catch this.  I'll ask my wife to look for it.

Love what one of the talk show guys now calls Pelosi.  Who--oh, yeah, Rusty Humphries.  Refers to her as "Pa-LOUSY".

Now, me, I'm hoping it'll work out so she'll be forever called, "Pa-LOSE-ee", as in when the health care vote comes up...oh.  You got it.  lol
