I am looking for somewhere I can make a website with multiple hublike pages. I want some place where I can make a home page and from it link to pages on specific topics that I can format in the same way I format a hub. it has to be free. does such a place exist?
Millions of them. "Format" - what do you mean by "format" - add images and videos and links?
free blogs
yes I know zero html all i think i would need is text boxes, links, auto google ad placement/however that works and a poll function of some sort.
Most of these on that list will work then.
Falsor meet Mark Knowles! He is the man you want to know/listen to, if you have any goals, which I know you do.
Go Knowles!
Falsor, he is doing you mucho kindness, read his hubs, and blogs and follow, follow, follow. If you can do all he says you will become a very happy and possibly wealthy hubber.
wow, aside from hyperbolic PR speeches that has to be the greatest endorsement I've ever heard given. Happy AND wealthy? sounds like a good deal. I humbly request your guidance Mark Knowles.
BTW you're not too shabby yourself faybe, when I rule the world you'll be in a good way.
Wait what is the difference between a blog and a website?
A blog is a website, but the content is usually arranged in date order.
Check out some of the sites I linked to - they are all free and differ in the interface, but I am sure you can find one that suits you.
Although - I would be thinking about learning at least the basics yourself if I were you. You don't want to rely solely on other people all the time if you are thinking of making some money at this.
I'm at the stage I think where I am seriously trying to decide whether to go all in internet webmaster/blogger as a serious endeavor for money making and writing, or to just focus on offline ventures.
I think really learning how to use the internet as a money making and promotional tool would be an excellent decision, but I'm very unsure as to what I can do so I'm kind of trying to test out the waters before I heavily invest my time.
I've actually used this wordpress before, huh, cool.
I may well have a look at that link too Mark! This is the sort of thing a techie wannabe (with no real personal skills for website building, only a theoretical understanding) like myself could probably use without feeling to overwhelmed. As always in regards to making the web work for us you are a great source for information! Ta!
Seems we need an educator. Step up Mr Knowles - time you stopped trying to sell your skillet and gave your readers what they need ... your knowledge and understanding *nods*
Hi Falsor, Blogger (google's blog system) has just launched a whole range of new blog templates which are great. You can create pages (no html knowledge required) so it looks more like a website rather than a blog and you can add capsule type modules - amazon, adsense, plus a load of other stuff. It's free and easy to use. I'm sure Mark has Blogger on his list
Google sites is worth spending some time with. Honestly - nothing is quite as easy as hubpages.
But - slow down, and take the time to learn some of these. As Susanna says - blogger is good and you can auto-include Amazon widgets now.
And yes - on my list and highly recommended.
Wow apparently google is broken, blogger has the weird B on an orange background right?

Now, I'm not asking which have helped you the most, but rather, which hubbers do you believe have had the most influence on you here - good, bad, or otherwise.

Do most hubbers (80%) make money on Hubpages ?
by RandomSh!t 13 years ago
I have a question. For google adsence, I know with hubpages a person only recives a certain percentage from ad clicks, but with blogger you get 100% - So wouldn't it be more profitable posting on blogger vs hubpages ? especially if your traffic from blogger is about the same traffic as...

With the recent google algorithm change, i noticed that hubbers who have spent 4 - 5 years are those having their subdomain slammed by google. Why?

Hey fellow hubbers,I've been posting quite a few hubs recently and I've also been doing quite a lot of SEO for them however, there is some part of the puzzle that just isn't clicking for me. Most of the people that are coming to my hubs are bouncing, my bounce rate is 78%. Can you look at just 1...
