I am looking for somewhere I can make a website with multiple hublike pages. I want some place where I can make a home page and from it link to pages on specific topics that I can format in the same way I format a hub. it has to be free. does such a place exist?

Millions of them. "Format" - what do you mean by "format" - add images and videos and links?

Wait what is the difference between a blog and a website?

A blog is a website, but the content is usually arranged in date order.

Check out some of the sites I linked to - they are all free and differ in the interface, but I am sure you can find one that suits you.

Although - I would be thinking about learning at least the basics yourself if I were you. You don't want to rely solely on other people all the time if you are thinking of making some money at this.

I'm at the stage I think where I am seriously trying to decide whether to go all in internet webmaster/blogger as a serious endeavor for money making and writing, or to just focus on offline ventures.

I think really learning how to use the internet as a money making and promotional tool would be an excellent decision, but I'm very unsure as to what I can do so I'm kind of trying to test out the waters before I heavily invest my time.

I've actually used this wordpress before, huh, cool.

I may well have a look at that link too Mark! This is the sort of thing a techie wannabe (with no real personal skills for website building, only a theoretical understanding) like myself could probably use without feeling to overwhelmed. As always in regards to making the web work for us you are a great source for information! Ta!

Seems we need an educator. Step up Mr Knowles - time you stopped trying to sell your skillet and gave your readers what they need ... your knowledge and understanding *nods* smile

Hi Falsor, Blogger (google's blog system) has just launched a whole range of new blog templates which are great. You can create pages (no html knowledge required) so it looks more like a website rather than a blog and you can add capsule type modules - amazon, adsense, plus a load of other stuff. It's free and easy to use. I'm sure Mark has Blogger on his list smile

Google sites is worth spending some time with. Honestly - nothing is quite as easy as hubpages.

But - slow down, and take the time to learn some of these. As Susanna says - blogger is good and you can auto-include Amazon widgets now.

And yes - on my list and highly recommended.  smile
