i have lots. all for different reasons, but i think they are really groovy... some are sexy some are nice some are intelligent some are helpful some are amazing, you'll have to figure out which 'cause i'm not sayin'
Sufidreamer is all the things you mentioned and more, could someone please put up some pics of our men.,........... i cannot i am not the brightest pebble on the beach, and i am not good with computers isn't it. I like Mark Knowles, he grows tomatoes in a greenhouse....... Then there is fiery C.J.
[/b] I'm typing on my iPad so I'm not sure how this will turn out but I just wanted to say I don't think james thinks too well of himself....in fact, he strikes me as modest and humble in a way, although he could think very well of himself if he wanted to...he is gorgeous, smart, a great writer, etc. Not to mention, always a gentleman
Ok OK Ok !! so I never got my yardarm measured and I never got to do the chicken dance ! But I reckon you all just made it up and it isn't really true, wot gives it away is the going to Tasmania thing, I know people only travel away from that place !
I also love the humor of Ron Montgomery, Doug Hughes, Carolina Muscle, Springboard, Sambo, Cags, Tony0724, Randy Godwin, and Mickey Dee; the compassion of Tonymac, Mike L, Hmrjmr, Prasetio, and James W; and the Hub smarts of Mark K, Ryankett, Darkside, thisisoli, and Sunforged.
All the fine male Hubbers, their work, and seriousness aside, I can't resist mentioning that Ron Montgomery certainly does have a way with that picture of that "large", shirtless, man at the computer that he posts whenever he gets the chance.
...the new guy...'idontdoweddings' - his hubs are amazing; posted a pic of himself too....I'm in luv! just popped in for a moment - taking a break from work....will catch up later! have a good day all!
Ok, here goes. Muley84, Stan Fletcher, Winsome, Carolina Muscle, Samboiam, MickyDee, Christoph Reilly, Benjimester, Bard of Ely, Sufidreamer, pcunix, James Watkins, IzzyM, Tom Rubenoff, Shadesbreath, Tom Cornett, B.T. Evilpants, Darkside, Sabu Singh, hmrjmr1, ProudGrandpa, Cagsil, De Greek and Rick Zimmerman.
Uhmmmm..... I sort of think some women have been included here (among the lists) by mistake. I know that it's not always easy to tell from an avatar, and conversation doesn't always clarify the matter. Anyway, I have referred to a male Hubber as a "she" before, so I can't point any fingers. But - I hope anyone who has been misidentified will not take offense!
and I have mis-identified several women hubbers as men! Yikes! That's why I don't make big ol lists on these popularity threads - and I always feel a little like I'm in 5th grade comparing notes with my girlfriends about the cutest boys! fun though.
Soooo TRUE. But I think we're supposed to pass the notes all folded up into fortune-telling origami and not let the boys see them at all! Of course, in the 5th grade I think the boys were afraid of our cooties. I'm not sure the guys here would be.
oh no, you brought up cooties - so I have to say that, yes, the boys here are just as afraid of cooties as they ever were! Boys don't ever grow out of that, in fact, that is why they struggle to make sure women don't get paid as much - cuz we have GIRL COOTIES! yep. sorry I had to be the one to point this out. You'll notice that whenever we're in a thread and a girl starts to talk directly to a boy he will politely answer for awhile but then take the first opportunity to talk to another boy as soon as one arrives and then ignore the girl, or poke fun at her. Just watch and see! happens all the time. Even on HP men(boys) can't have actual discussions with women(girls) without either flirting, putting them down, or abandoning the conversation to go hang out with the guys. pathetic.
Lord, what a lovely line-up to choose from. Let's see...
Pcunix-a new favorite and quite the knowledgeable one. Samboiam-gentleman all the way. Ralwus-poet without remorse. Wayne Brown-one cowboy I'd like to saddle up with. Stan Fletcher-a beaut of a male who can't help but be funny. Cheaptrick-another dose of humor to love. Hmrjmr1-warm and friendly defender of Zena's heart. De Greek-amazing writer and social observer. Paraglider-one of the most incredible intellects here on HP. McHamlet-thanks to the ladies here, I just found him, friended him, and, well, the rest is nobody's business! tonymac-always a positive and helpful presence here on this site.
...and, and, God, I've got to stop! There are far too many fabulous men here to mention.
Lorlie6 - don't call my mom. The poor woman is still traumatized from my teen years. DoNotFear - I think our relationship may be over because of your husband's gun collection. I'm sorry. Joy56 - I'm waiting to see what kind of wooing you're going to do before I make my decision.
Hey, I was raised in Texas and have lots o' guns. My state of choice is AZ, but won't be back down there for a while. I'm not anti-gun, I'm anti-getting shot in the ass as I'm running naked out of your houses!
Lord, I'm so torn, you gorgeous men, you! But when BP and I mud wrestle, we'll make sure you forget these trivialities. My honor is pretty cool actually, McHamlet, so we shall leave you to sip in peace.
And yes, Pcunix, even before that comment you would have made it on my list if I hadn't limited myself to just three . I don't know if I'm following you yet, but have read a lot of your responses on the boards and in answers, and always find something interesting there.
Lorlie - I have stalked you here, and seen your secret conversation with Pcunix. My wrath is building. A little. The suggestion that you made that I include a pile of dead kittens in my hub has started a firestorm in my inbox (that sounded a little kinky).
Hi Stan-don't worry, Pcunix and I have broken up. Sort of. Oh, Gawd, I'm lying again. I can't help it with all you lovely males everywhere. Please continue the stalking. I think it's quite hot. Kinky, too.
Omg I cannot do this either as different men here give me different reactions. Some make me swoon with delight (aghhhhhhhhhhh) some make me laugh, and then there are some I just want to cuddle like a teddy bear.
What 'hot female hubber' thread? Wouldn't it be a little vain to post my own pic? Okay, I'm going to look for it. I'm looking for some fun....who's this Stan Fletcher? Reckon he likes older, southern, married women?
I've been trying to stay away - afraid that if I go there too many times I will jeapordize his adsense earnings or hub account or something - and anyway it will look like I'm a voyeuristic, needy, hubberlover.
Then start something....! You can do it. I remember the Hokey days when we ladies were all mesmerized by his charm, staying up late at night, talking, sharing, acting giddy......where have those days gone?
My mother is coming up today Donotfear have not seen her in a long time so I have to clean up a bit, make sure there are clean coffee cups and the bathroom is respectable LMAO but I give you my word when I return I will stir the pot, yes I miss those days too.
Since there are many great male hubbers that I have had the pleasure of reading or joining in discussion with, I've limited mine to the top three...these are the guys whose writing and/or participation in the forums stand out the most to me :
i can't imagine how many i spelt wrong or repeated and will regret the ones i missed, after the fact, but my point is you all [most ] all rock and I am making up the vanishing mens hub for you, in a different way
Yay! I love being able to make a man blush . Haven't managed that in...well, less than 24 hours, but my husband shouldn't count because it's far too easy to pick on him, and I derive far too much joy from it .
now we're getting somewhere! excuse me while I go write my hub about hubbers who write hubs about their favorite hubbers! I hope you'll start a thread after you read it about favorite hubbing hubbers who hub about favorite hubbers and hubs of favorites! (there should be the male one, and the female one - so actually, I guess I'll have to write: Favorite Men Hubbers Who Hub About Favorite Hubbers and Favorite Women Hubbers Who Hub About Favorite Hubbers - that'll keep me busy and out of your hair for awhile!)
Misha easy on the eye. I remember his photo from long ago, he did not own a hairbrush at the time....... he was soooooooo scary, and a bit more raw, he is calming down with age. He does kinda grow on you.
I too could make a list of names, but then I would worry about hurting someone's feelings by forgetting a special hubber. I have met many who have affected my way of thinking here in Hub Pages, and in the real world. But Mrvoodoo affects my peace. Peace of mind is all we have, in the end.
Hubber spunk - Those Hubbers whom are found to be interesting, funny, intelligent, humorous, sexy, play well with others, create collaborative effort, provide help, just all round nice folk. Any or all of these aspects describes Hubber Spunk
You've got two of mine on your list! Great minds really must think alike!
K. Partin for the way he has with words and how he uses them to help others.
Ken R Abell for his brilliance.
Carolina Muscle never fails to brighten my day with his witty humor!
Pcunix is my favorite new guy-his sense of humor and ability to get to the heart of the matter keep me coming back.
Cagsil for his sense of sarcasm. I love that! There are others here just as sarcastic and I adore them, too but he's got that in your face type of sarcasm that just gets right in your face and sometimes that's necessary!
aw thanks pinky. I'm honored that you would even mention me. you'd certainly be on my list too if there was a forum for us guys to list the female hubbers like this. lol. anyway, i hope all is well with you, as i do miss talking to you and everyone else in forums.
nah, he hasn't. besides, i usually keep that guy in check, as he's not as tough as he claims he is. just don't ever tell him i told you that. Anyway, thanks lorlie, i missed you too. sorry I haven't been around in a while. i just haven't been in forums lately because i've been busy working two part time jobs at the moment, and i've been kind of bummed out lately as i just had to put my dog, itchy, to sleep a couple of weeks ago. he lost mobility in his left limbs, so i didn't have much of a choice other than him suffering. I know he's in a better place though, but I still miss him. I raised the dog since he was one years old all the way up to 20, so i practically grew up with him. that's what makes it so hard to cope that he's gone.....
I am so sorry about Itchy, Stevennix. God, that's hard. I really feel for you-I have 2 dogs at the moment that are 12 and 13 years old and both are struggling. One has seizures, the other, severe arthritis. It's terrible to watch them in pain. I'm sure you did the right thing, but that doesn't make it any easier. (((HUGS)))
(hugs back) thanks lorlie. I needed that. yeah, im sure i did as well. i got advice about it from a good friend of mine on here, on how to cope with it, so i'm sure i'll be okay. i just miss the little guy that's all.
anyway, im terribly sorry to hear about your dogs though. I know Itchy had severe arthritis too for about a year before his left limbs gave up on him. I hope that isn't the same case for your dog that's experiencing this. im terribly sorry to hear that.
Steven you have been one of my many best friends here on HubPages and off... You will always be on my list no matter the threads or not. I miss talking to you too and hope that things will get a little back to normal soon.
read your thread on Michael Jackson, it was awesome, why are you not in forums, er well you are what am i talking about .....just read other posts and i now have the answer. Sorry about the dog, and do not work too hard...
oh thanks joy, i appreciate you saying that. yeah...itchy's death has been kind of hard to deal with. especially, since we both grew up together, as i was just a kid when i got him. i raised him as a puppy all the way up until he was 20 yrs old. even the vet said they've never seen or heard of a dog living that freaking long.
however, i know it was for the best, as he's no longer suffering anymore. that's the important thing. as far as forums goes, i try to pop back in every once in a while recently, but most of the people i used to talk to a lot are no longer here. Or they don't participate in forums anymore themselves. however, one of these days when im not too busy, i'll definitely try to catch up with everyone. just probably not now. lol. sorry. anyways, thanks for saying that again, and it was very nice meeting you. from what i can tell, you seem to be very popular here, and i can see why. hopefully one of these days, we become good friends on here.
I'm flattered to find my name mentioned in a forum post like this... I tend to think of myself as more or less invisible. If only some of you kind ladies were around when my date for the senior prom dumped me at the last minute in favor of the guy who won the Betty Crocker scholarship.
To be young again.............
Thank you, those of you kind enough to mention my name here.
what the heck, why can't we just say that ALL the hubber men, except for the obvious bastards and sockpuppets are extremely wonderful, creative, hunky and wildly erotic and be done with it! You are all on my list. Now stop this madness!
Thanks Kimberly - as for the rest of you I have feelings you know ha ha At least I still have my pets The little swallow that I found yesterday is doing well - I have posted him as my avatar He/she Loves Me........
yeh, but then he is hot in a kind of maniacal, violent, transparently softy way in other words, he tries to act all macho and mean, but he's really a pussy cat - hmmmmmm . . . maybe awfully like a pussycat with a gun! that reminds me of someone!
What do you like the most about writing articles on Hub Pages? The least? The Hub Pages community is changing daily with the influx of new members and new guidelines. What do you enjoy the most about the opportunity to write here and why?Are there things you would like to see change? Please explain...
Now is the time for all good hubbers to come to the aid of HubNugget Wannabes everywhere! This week's Hubs are newly de-classified and ready FOR YOUR EYES ONLY - Tell everyone! We must get the word out!Quick! Here's the link - Read! Vote! - pass it on...http://hubpages.com/hub/Nuggets-Are-Forever
I don't know if this is workable or not, it's just a suggestion. However I was just reading a thread about hubbers "rewarding" other hubbers by clicking their adverts. My suggestion: Since we cannot see Kontera adverts while logged in, could the same be applied to Adsense?Obviously there...
