                     Somebody seemed to be offended when I said "conservative wing nuts" the other day.
                     If you said, "look at those liberal jackasses!" I would not automatically assume you were talking about me, just because I'm a liberal.
                     Right?
                     
                     If I was a right winger, I would applaud the use of the wing nut label. I'd say,
                     Yeah I'm conservative, but I'm not a crazy as THAT wing nut. I'm from a different sub-set of the GOP.

                           You know me well enough to take this for what it is, not as some kind of wishy washy cop-out:
                           I don't hang around pol forums too much because apart from the ignorant jackassery, everybody's opinion is valid. Folks who spout off in an angry rage but never say anything significant - yeah, they can go away. But your right to life opinion is as valid as my pro-choice stance and I don't see much reason to get into a debate that will only leave us both upset.
                           See what I mean?
                           
                           But yeah --- if I'm worried about my feelings getting hurt I don't lay my opinion out in the first place. That's ridiculous. Go cry to your mom. Who needs that drama
